「Mackenzie's POV」
I climbed a tree to the tippy top and stared out to the town beyond the woods outside, I think it's Olkins (made town up I hope...).
"Mack! Get down from there! If you get hurt you know who's responsible!" Kristen calls.
"Yeah, yeah." I say climbing down.
"So, what are we doin'?" I ask walking in.
"No idea." She answers.
"Great, more surprises." I say sarcastically.
"Bella, why didn't you tell me." We hear Charlie say.
Why's Charlie here? Now?
"Dad, I told you, if you needed to know, I would've told you." Bella says.
"This seems pretty damn important for me to know." Charlie says a little angry.
"The Volturi would've killed you." Bella argues her voice also rising.
Charlie drags his hand across his face.
"And you wouldn't fight?"
"I would've gone down with you, we all would've."
"At least you weren't hiding anything."
"It was for your own good Charlie."
"Keep saying that, I don't buy it."
"Enough!" Kristen screams and they turn to look at us.
"Woah, um, that's new." Charlie says.
"Yeah, freaky right? But that's for later." Kristen says.
"I can't stand to see you guys fight." Rob says from in the doorway to the kitchen.
"Edward." Charlie says.
"Nope, names Robert." He says with a crooked smile and his English accent, this time.
"Oh.. Am I missing something?" Charlie says, very puzzled.
"We come from another universe, that's all I'm saying." I chime into the conversation.
Bella helps Charlie out due to his now unconscious figure.
"He'll think this is all a dream, thanks for getting me out if that guys." Bella thanks.
"No prob." We all say.
