***Next Day
***Harry's POVI waited for Bea at her locker fidgety, nervous and hungry. My stomach didn't allow me to eat that morning. I wasn't sick. I was nervous. I had a lot to tell her.
I had two days until I would find out what was wrong with my labs. I was going crazy. My mum was going crazy. I didn't want to add Bea to that list so I wasn't going to tell her until after.
And that just added to the unnecessary stress. I already had so much to tell her. My head began to throb just thinking about it.
I felt a calm wash over me, however, when I looked down the hall and saw her.
I straightened my shirt and, of course, cleared my throat.
"Good morning, Bea," I smiled, reaching out for her hand.
"Good morning, Harry!"
"You look one-hundred and ten percent better."
"I feel one-hundred and ten percent better," she reared her head back. "I'm so glad it wasn't a long cold."
I leaned down to kiss her and she moved back a bit.
Not this again!
A/N: Okay, really quick, who the hell would reject a kiss from Harry?!
But please just go with it!
Okay. Bye."I um, still might be contagious," her eyes darted nervously back and forth to mine.
I could tell something else was bothering her, but since we were in the crowded hallway, I went along with it.
For her.
The bell rang.
"Alright. C'mon, don't make us late for class, Sorrentino."
She gave an irritated sound and smiled.
We started to walk to our first period class and I reached for her hand.
"Harry, your friends will see," her eyes widened.
Is that the reason?
I stopped our stride.
It had to be taken care of right then."Good. Let them. I'm holding my girlfriend's hand."
Bea relaxed and her face lit up. Her eyes still had a hint of puffiness due to her lingering cold but other than that, they sparkled.
We settled in our desks and I decided to write her a note to further convince her. Just in case.
"Bea, you're my girlfriend and that's all that matters."
I tapped her shoulder and she took it. I looked over to my right and caught Victor's glare. His disgust could be felt the three rows over.
Workman started class and Bea tapped my knee. After I calmed myself, I took the note and read it in my lap.
"You're such a cornball. But I like corny."
I smiled like an idiot.***
The bell rang and we made our way to Chem class and I reached for girlfriend's hand. I heard a tiny giggle but it turned into a cough that she quickly covered.
I felt bad.
"I like having classes with you," she rolled her eyes into a smile, squeezing my hand.
