I pull on my dress sighing as I realise it's too small. Great! I guess I'm going to have to wear a dress I've worn before. I want to wear something relatively comfortable as I mentioned to Lewis that I would help watch the door.

After a moment of consideration I decide on the blue right dress with a long, dark blue matching kimono that flows around my legs.

I put on a pair of flats not wanting to have to walk around in heels all night as they are satanically uncomfortable. When I walk out of my room grabbing my phone and essentials as I leave I hear a loud bang,

When I turn around I see Alex with smashed glass around his feet. He's staring at me with wide eyes, ignoring the glittering glass.

Fantastic! The third this month, at least I won't be the one who has to take a trip to Ikea.
"What is wrong with you?" I yell incredulously, looking at another of my precious new glasses shattered on the floor and with a guilty Alex not even clearing it up. He's standing there staring, eyes as wide as a dear in headlights.

Even after yelling at him he's just standing there. I walk up to him and snap my fingers.
"Hey snap out of it!" I sigh trying to calm myself down before blowing my top. He blinks at me before a shocked almost dazed expression covers his face.
"I forgot to give Ben his text book back, catch you later!" He gulps before turning on his heel rushing out the door.

Stupid boys, glancing down at the clear shards I decide to carefully sweep them up before someone gets severely hurt, someone must probably being myself.

When I pull up to the party I'm relieved to see nobody's really arrived to the party yet. Smiling I walk to the front door and knock.
A goofy Lewis answers the door decked out in his typical obnoxious Hawaiian shirt.

"Hey come in, we are still setting up?" He says smiling giddily like a boy who's just won some candy.
I smile back looking around for Maya and possibly some nachos to have a quick snack on..
"You're probably looking for Maya! She's this way." He grins placing an arm around my shoulders and directing me into a second room. Large speakers are placed at the back f the room alongside a guy setting up a turntable. He nods politely my way before putting on a large set of headphones.
"Cheers and why are you so smiley this fine evening?" I ask laughing.
He stiffly laughs, scratching the back of his neck before boyishly smirking.
"Well Riley if you insist to know, it's a chance for myself to get a little action." Lewis grins before hooting and leaving to greet some guests from the basketball team.

When I see Maya I speed walk over to her and smile.
"You look gorgeous Hun." Maya exclaims toddling over to me in her ridiculously tall heels. Although it has only just gone eight o'clock the steady stream of people moving in the house is increasing rapidly.
"Guys can you go do the first door monitoring please; you can drink and dance when the guys get here!" Lewis calls over the increasing beat of the music as he tries to politely muscle his way over to the kitchen. We make our way to the door sitting on the chairs scattered around whilst a few giggling drunken girls try to open the bathroom door.

"Well this is fun!" Maya yells sarcastically over the music.
"It's to help Lewis out okay, I promised I would do for a favour!" I yell back smiling.
"At least we can do our own thing in a bit, Riley watch out for yourself tonight please!" She says quietly and urgently before composing herself. I send her a questioning look which she flips off whilst shouting at a kid puking in a plant pot.
