" alexis let me talk to you real quick" I heard Chris say as I sighed and turned around.

" yes... Chris?" I asked impatiently.

" I don't know how to say this but I need help with something." Chris said swinging his right foot back and forth.

" I like this girl right but I don't know if she likes me and I want you to help me get her."

" who is it?" I asked. " do I know her?" I smiled interested.

" I don't know she go to a different school... I was wondering maybe after school you could give me some advice."

" after school? I dont know about that I already-"

" made plans with Danny " he tried finishing my sentence. " come on Alexis I would do it for you."

I thought for a moment looking up at the ceiling.
" how about tomorrow... At the library." I said. " and I hope you don't cheat on her with the girls you have standing in lines." I joked walking out the classroom bumping into Danny.

" What took you so long." He asked me looking from me up to Chris who was leaving the classroom.

" sup man." Chris shortly greeted.

" I was talking to Chris." I pointed at him.

"What y'all was talking about." Danny asked.

" he like this girl." I said smiling and waving at Diana as she pursed her lips up at me making a heart with her hands.

" don't believe everything that nigga say." Danny said pulling out his phone.

" you leaving" I asked him as he looked at me from the corner of his eye.

" no Alexis." He simply said.

"What you doing then?" I asked standing on my tip toes trying to look at the screen of his phone which he moved it away.

" you can look on my phone but I can't look on yours." I questioned awhile folding my hands.

" you cute when you mad." Danny said trying to kiss me but I pushed his head away with the palm of my hands

" stop trying to change the subject." I told him getting into the lunch line.

I waved at Ya'ria and Josh who were already far in front of us.

" what we doing today?" Danny asked me.

I shrugged. " whatever you want to do."

Danny smiled and raised both his eyebrows.

" I'm glad you said that..."

I jerked my head back. " I didn't...- mean thattt way." I dragged my words out.

He laughed " I wasn't talking about that I was talking about meeting my parents." He shook his head grabbing his tray as I punched in my lunch number.

The cafeteria was really loud and it was clear what everybody was talking about the fight that happened not even 30 minutes ago. The video that was on Ya'ria's phone had now bent sent to numerous people.

I shook my head. Walking over to the table with Danny... We both greeted I wouldn't necessarily call them my friends. I wasn't such a fan on Lamont because to me he was a follower of malik but he was overly more childish and nasty.

Justin wasn't to bad he could be nice and innocent at times but who am I to judge I still have things that I need to work on myself.

We were having a peaceful pg 13 conversation until Diana showed up at our lunch table.
