IT'S CONFUSING!

"Can I open my eyes now ?"
"No"
"How about now ?"
"No"
I had been really  very impatient for the past few hours , while Aiden kept driving  us to our destination and me being  scared was an understatement.
I mean who wouldn't be?
When you were blindfolded  and you have got nothing  to do but to just sit back and let that one person  whom you hate and love with so much passion drive you to God knows where.

Piece of cake.
I know.

"Now?" I asked him with a sheepish  grin forming  on my blindfolded  face.
"Keiria  if  you don't stop whining  I swear I will kiss you! "
I could  feel color  rushing  to my cheek as I tried to look unaffected  by what he just said.
I could tell  Aiden was smirking  though  all I could see was pitch blackness .
I knew he had driven us far from our small cramped  up town.
I could taste  the saltiness in the air surrounding  us  as the wind blew through  my face.
Even though  after everything  that has happened  between  us ,  it felt nothing  of that sort .
At that moment  it felt almost normal .
I had a million  questions  to ask him yet somehow my tongue had forgotten  how to gush out the words which  were a jumbled mess in my head.

It felt like the road we were headed was a never ending  one but before i could nag about the stupid blind fold around  my eyes, the car was brought to an abrupt stop .I felt two strong arms hovering  over the sides of my head .

Aiden pulled on the knots of the blind fold which made them fall carelessly  on my lap.
I blinked my eyes open only to find Aiden too close to my face as he kept staring  at me like I was some brand new  iPhone.
I didn't  know that i had my breathe held in my throat .
My body went rigid when my mind registered on how close he was to me.
He moved even closer to my face and my eyes automatically started to close.  He moved close to my ear as I waited  for him with anticipation  building  in me by every passing second.
"Dream on slaza"
Aiden whispered  into my ears as he abruptly  moved away from me,
Making  my eyes bulge out of my sockets as realization  dawned on me .
I scowled  at him as I stomped my way out of the car. Aiden was  laughing   out loudly as he made his way towards me with a victorious grin forming  on his face.
I glared at him for a few seconds before my eyes started to take in the surrounding  around  us.

It .Was .Breathtaking.

I was met with a vast  clear blue  sea in front of me. The clouds above us were nowhere  to be found.
The sun kissed the sea which made them  sparkle  like diamonds.
The sound of the waves crashing elegantly into the grounds made the sight almost heavenly.   I loved the sea . It was my second favourite   thing in the whole wide world. Just being  near to the blue wonder bought a sense of serene  to my mind. It made me calm.  None of my friends , even the one's  who was the closest to me knew about my fascination  towards  the beach. How Aiden came to know about it was beyond  me . 
"Maybe it was just a mere
coincidence " I shrug myself to clear my thoughts  as I take in a deep calming  salty  breath.
"I love the sea"
"It makes me  feel peaceful "
Aiden said as he looked at the wide spread  enchantment in front of us.
A smile tugged on the corner of my lips after hearing  the new found information about him.
"We had something  in common , something  that made us both happy in our own way" I smiled inwardly  .
But what I could not understand  was that the beach  was completely  deserted . I did not find even a  single human across the  wide stretch of the land in front of me.
"This beach is quiet secluded  . Most of the people don't know that a place like this even exists"
"I found  this piece of heaven  when I was  going  camping  with a few of my friends"
"From then on i used to come here to clear my head and to think straight.  Somehow I  get comfort from hearing  the sounds of the magnificent  waves crashing  onto the rocks."
Aiden answered my  unasked  question  .
I shook my head up and down as a sign of understanding  .
I knew that this place was pretty damn special  to him and it made my heart swell with happiness  to know that he had brought  me here.
"Walk with me Keiria"
Aiden asked me  while he gave me his  hand to hold on to.
I smiled widely at him as I took his outstretched  arm .
