Hunter mom came back a couple days later, so I packed up my things and left their house without a second glance.

I was done with messing around with everyone but I wasn't sure if I wanted to be tied down.

I wasn't exactly sad about anything nut nonetheless, tears started to fill my eyes and my nose started to stuff up.

Life just wasn't working out for me right now and there was nothing to turn back to.

I was either the loser in the back of the classroom or the school whore that sleeps with anyone and everyone who gives her googly eyes.

Somehow though, sleeping with those people, described my mind more than it described my principles.

I just believed everything anyone told me.

I just never learn.

But right now, I need to figure out how I want to live my life, what I want to do, and (more importantly) who I want to do.

"You can't look me in the eyes and tell me that you think this is the best thing for the band!"

Hunter and I are laying down on the couch, his arm wrapped around me and my hand laying on his thigh.

"I'm saying that we need to think about working for some bigger gigs and quit playing at mediocre joints."

Max is sitting by on the other side of the room with some dumb blonde with shorts and a bra-let laying on him.

"We can't just leave our most devoted fans out in the dust. I know we're getting bigger , but these people have been with us since we were making music out of my room!"

Hunter tenses up and I feel his bicep harden behind my back.

Max opens up his mouth to say something but I blurt something out of my mouth before he has the chance to say.

"Maybe you guys can work something out. Something that benefits both of you guys."

Hunter looks at me from the side and smiles.

"Um, no offense, but that's really stupid. We should listen to Max," Max's little slut turns towards him and kisses his cheek, "I mean, he's like, really smart."

I grimace as she starts to play with his hair and I spot Max staring at me.

He pushes her off of him and sits up a little straighter.

"So what do you suppose we do sweetheart?"

He winks at me and grins, like he expects me to open my mouth again and sound stupid.

"Well, I was thinking that you guys could start working on that abandoned building and make it look a little nicer. Start with that, start charging a little more each time and if it works out, then go from there."

Max laughs and I stands up, starting to walk towards me.

I feel Hunter's heart start to beat a little faster and his muscles start to twitch.

"Babe, you are quite a delight."

He winks and rubs my chin, turning it up towards him.

"Hey, that's my girl you're talking to. Get your hands off of her man."

Max laughs and opens his mouth but I interrupt him again.

"I'm not your girl."

I get up off the couch and grab my backpack from the floor and the bottle of liquor sitting on the floor.
