Thomas when Gally announces he should be punished but you speak up for him
"What do you suggest we do about it?" Newt asks Gally beside him.
"He has to be punished" You roll your eyes as a series of debates come from the Gladers.
"Shut your mouth Gally" You speak up making everyone become silent and turn to you. "What did you say to me, princess?" He snarls. You see Thomas look up at you in curiosity.
"I said shut your mouth. He killed a Griever and somehow made it out alive while still saving Alby. He doesn't deserve to be punished, he deserves to be rewarded. I say we make him a Runner" Another eruption of debate washes over the room and Chuck tries to chant 'Thomas!' making you laugh.
"If you're so keen on him becoming a Runner, then you train him" He says pulling Thomas up by the shirt and throwing him into your chest. "This gathering is over" Gally says stomping out of the room as you follow his actions.
"Hey wait!" Thomas calls to you trying to get through the other Gladers until he finally reaches you.
"You're welcome Greenie. It's not that easy to get past Gally"
"I know I know I just wanted to say thank you" He says jumping in front of you to stop you. "I'm Thomas" He says sticking out his hand. "Y/N" You say taking it. "Now being a Runner is not all fun and games-" You continue as Thomas listens closely not keeping his eyes off you.
