Dylan when he takes you home from school after you break up with your boyfriend

You sat on a bench outside of school for an hour trying to find a possible contact to call as you wiped a few escaping tears.

Your boyfriend of only five months just broke up with you and left you stranded without a ride back home. 

You called just about everyone, trying to sound stable over the phone and you had no money with you to pay for a taxi.

You heard the front doors open as you turned away and hoped they wouldn't see or talk to your troubled self.

"Y/N?" A voice called to you. You turned your head and saw one of your classmates, Dylan.

"Oh-uh," you sniffed your nose, "hey Dylan"

"What are you still doing here?"

"My ride-uh they couldn't take me today" You tried your best to not have a breakdown right in front of him and he didn't seem to notice your discomfort.

"I could give you a lift if you want?"

"Really?" Your voice had cracked from crying so much. "Yeah no problem"

"Wow, I mean if it isn't too much trouble"

"Not at all," he smiled, "it's over here"

You started walking across the parking lot as your thoughts wondered back to your now ex-boyfriend.

"So where's your boyfriend to save the day?"

That's when you stopped right in front of his car and let the hot tears stream down your face.

Dylan looked up at you with an eyebrow raised, but his gaze quickly softened at your state.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

"He broke up with me," you clutched your hands at your sides, "he-he said it wasn't going to work out between us"

"Oh my god. I-I'm so sorry, god I'm an idiot"

"It's not your fault"

"That guy's a jerk. What kind of a person would say that to Y/N Y/L/N"

"Thanks Dylan" You laughed and looked down at your shoes, blushing. "There's a smile" He opened the passenger door for you.
