"I'd like you to meet my second in command" Jorge smirks to the group of boys and Teresa.
"Who is it, another one of your dirty rat guards?" Minho sasses as you come out from behind Jorge.
"If that makes me, then what are you?" You reply back smirking and crossing your arms over your chest.
"Who are you?" Thomas asks eyeing you up and down not taking his eyes off you.
"I'm Y/N. Second in command. Delighted to make your acquaintance" You say sticking out your hand and batting your eyelashes playfully as Thomas shakes your hand.
"I was second in command" Newt angrily says making his protectiveness known.
"That was in the Maze. You're in the real world now, and without our help you guys wouldn't make it one week in the Scorch"
"What makes you think we can trust you guys?" Thomas asks still suspicious.
"Because we're the only hope you have. I'll protect you, I promise" You smile and assure him as he swore to himself he was in love with you.
