You recognize him in the city

You were on your way home from WCKD. You had been working there for six months since they saved you from the Right Arm.

WCKD stripped away your memories of the Maze, the Gladers, and your boyfriend Thomas. They had to make sure you would be loyal.

You were at a crosswalk when you noticed a boy with a grey hoodie staring at you from across the street.

You recognized the boy, it was on the top of your tongue. A bus crossed the intersection and when it passed you noticed the boy walking in the opposite direction. You had to find out who he was, so you followed him.

He was walking fast, but you made sure to keep up with him and followed him into a parking lot. You spun around becoming worried if this was just a trick.

"Y/N," A voice spoke behind you and you flipped around coming face to face with the boy.

"How do you know my name?" You asked him firmly. "What are you talking about? I'm Thomas," He asked back confused.

"Sorry I don't know a Thomas, you just look really familiar," You could see the tears start to prick in his eyes.

"Y/N it's me please you have to remember. I'm Thomas I'm your boyfriend, we were in the Maze together, we survived the Scorch, WCKD took you and brought you here and I'm trying to save you!" He grabbed your shoulders but you backed away from him, still confused.

"I work for WCKD, they didn't take me," You defended. "No you were sent into the Maze trials but we escaped and now WCKD took you and erased all your memories!"

"You're insane!" You start walking away from him but he quickly grabs your wrist and smashes his lips against yours.

"Get the hell off me!" You scream and push him off of you. "Y/N you have to remember it's me-,"

"Stay the hell away from me!" You demanded before running out of the parking lot, leaving your boyfriend.
