You sat with the others as you inconspicuously looked over at Stuart & Nick talking. You turned your head away, of course he doesn't feel the same way, you thought.
"You like her don't you? I saw you looking at her at the club last night, how you protected her from those assholes" Nick said noticing Stuart staring at you on the other picnic bench.
"Yeah" He said scuffing his shoe on the dirt. "You don't seem very enthusiastic about it. Y/N's great"
"I know she's amazing, it's just that I don't know how to tell her" He shrugged and looked back down at his shoes. "Tell her how you truly feel"
"But what if that's not enough? How am I supposed to confess that I like her if she doesn't feel the same way or if i'm not good enough for her?"
"You deserve each other Stuart. Fate brought you together and if you don't take this chance now you'll regret it the rest of your life"
Stuart looked back over at you admiring and looking and at the sunrise.
"You're right"
