dare [h. renjun]

"you'll know me soon."

"i dare you to date renjun."

my eyes widened upon hearing what this guy acrossed me had said. i wasnt expecting it at all. yes, i was actually expecting it to be something that has renjun involved in it, but not this crazy!

i froze on my position as i tried coping up at what was actually happening. i was too stunned, it took me seconds to realize that the room is now filled with noises.

"ooohhh"
"MAN!"
"way to go!"

and more, "oooohhh"

"are you crazy?!" i mouthed mark, my eyebrows now connected, i think it can make me ugly and so wrinkly---if that word exists. (a/n: oh wait it actually exists lol) yet mark just gave me a shrug and a thumbs up as i feel like im about to cry.

he is the only one who knows my secret, he promised me he wont do anything like that. ugh! what an idiot. now im really questioning myself about how i gave him my trust while some person should actually desrrve it than him.

"no way!" i exclaimed with full honesty that made them groan in disappointment.

"that's a dare, (y/n)." jeno laughed that made me want to treat them lunch for a month instead. the thing is, im not rich.

"did you know that there's a project that mrs. jung gave us? the monthly project?" mark asked randomly while looking at me intently as i facepalmed myself. i totally forgot about the project, i only have few days left to make it!

"we can make it for you.. if youll do the dare." mark smirked as the other boys started cheering.

im actually hesitant about this.. well from the start, you can already tell it. not that i dont want to date renjun, but it would be really awkward for the both of us. especially me, im not good at this. plus, the relationship would be a relationsht since renjun doesnt even like me and so do i.

suddenly, an idea popped into my mind. im not actually sure if this can help me, but i just hope it will.

"oppaaa" i whined like a little kid as i diverted my gaze to my brother who is now laughing too as he replied, "what?"

"tell them you dont like it. please dont let me get into that." i looked at my brother with worried eyes. im kind of... just kind of certain that haechan wont let them. my brother doesnt even like me bringing a guy friend over our house, how much more if i date someone?

"well they already asked my permission about this. it's fine for me." and thats when i fell down to despair, i had no choice nor have someone who can relate me. i narrowed my eyes at him as i thought, ' this one's a traitor too, huh? ' did they planned this before?? gosh, now i realize why jeno said what will be the whole point when i wont join the game.

"you have to do it, (y/n). dare's a dare." mark then barged in as the other guys chanted, "do it, do it, do it!"

but thinking about the project...

"fine."

i think my eardrums are about to explode when they are making the noise more loud. especially this kid beside me, chenle.

i crossed my arms as i uttered, "make sure you'll do my project.. atleast half of it." because for me, that's actually kind of stealing, so i wanted to work on it a little too.

"wait hold up." i yelled that made them all stop. "we're not sure yet if renjun will actually agree to this." i smirked, now that im certain he doesnt like me.
