"this is the one i gave him,"
"he didn't throw it away?"

renjun and i sat down on the bench for a few minutes as he was now resting his head on my shoulder, eventually falling asleep.

i have no clue on what made him so down today, and i didn't get to ask him since i was too distracted by his tightened hug. i seriously could only barely breathe earlier, that i felt like i needed to gasp for air. however, as seconds passed by, my body as well as my mind calmed down as i started to feel the warmth in his arms. i felt the comfort in his hug, even though he was the one who needed the comfort.

i remembered him digging his face on my shoulder, as he tried stopping himself from sobbing.

seriously, it was very unusual for me to see him like that. behind the blank face he usually has, there is actually a deeper emotion inside him that he can not let out.

i looked down to see his face as he had his head laying down on my right shoulder with his eyes closed, deep in slumber.

i had seen him being a heavy sleeper, and had a hard time waking up instantly, (a/n: review chapter thirteen to remember) but i've never seen him sleep so easily. especially when we just hugged for a few minutes.

is my hug really comfortable? hehe

when renjun started moving, and shifting in his position, my skin touched his forehead which made me realize he wasn't warm for this cold weather. he was hot. (a/n: hehe)
i then immediately placed my palm on his forehead to check his temperature, and he doesn't have the warmth like what we usually have.

i shrugged his shoulders to wake him up, and surprisingly opened his eyes which landed on mine.

his eyes look tired...

"ar...are you feeling uh, well?" i stuttered while trying to ask him a question.

a simple question, i had to ask. why did i stutter?

"ahh, ding it. this is probably how the hug is affecting me," i muttered under my breath while looking away.

"not really," he replied with a raspy voice with his eyes seemed to be looking heavy. he then started to cough, which made me stand up, and drag him from the bench.

"the weather is getting really cold, must be the reason why you're not feeling well. let's go home," i suggested, seizing his arm upon him stumbling to get up.

"errh," i uttered, clenching my teeth. "this is my fault for even suggesting stay out in the cold," i whispered to myself that made him grasp my shoulder, and shifted his eyes at me to give an assuring look.

"i have been feeling like this even before meeting you," he said, trying not to make me blame myself.

"oh, come on! it's my fault for making it worse," i put a concerning look on my face as we started walking down the street to the bus station.

although the sun was about to dip, the cold breeze wasn't greeting us anymore which was surprising. we passed by our house as renjun decided to halt in his pace. before he could even ask if i'm going inside, i looked at him with worry evident on my face to see him looking so worned out.

no, he can't take care of himself in that condition.

i peeked through the windows from the balcony to check if the lights were on from haechan's room, yet same with the lights in the living room, it's closed.

"my brother isn't here, yet. i'm accompanying you," i turned my head to face him as he opposed of my idea. "i can't hear you," i retorted, grabbing his wrist to walk down the street.
