"It wasn't me"

-

"hyung." renjun slowly pushed the door open, peeking through the gap in between.

"what is it, renjun?" the guy stood up from his seat, greeting the boy, and opening the door wider for him to come in.

"haechan got beaten up. did he tell you yet?" letting out a sigh, and revealing a worried face, renjun sat down across him.

"yes, he did. he called me just a few minutes ago." he then walked back to his seat, rummaging through his things before uttering again.

"did you tell..." before he could continue, he looked out through the small rectangular window on the door, to ensure no person is lurking around. "eighteen about it already?"

"not yet, but i'm supposed to tell himㅡ"

"he got a clue about it already. he asked me, worried if something happened to one of us."

surprised, and also confused, renjun raised his brows infront of him. "how?"

"he caught his brother."

renjun's expression was clearly not his usual expressionless face as it was widening in astonishment. "what did... his brother do this time?" renjun was uneasy at how much it scared him, and making his chest stagger for a second after hearing what the guy had said.

"he followed her. we're not certain why he did it, but i think it's somehow connected with what happened to haechan."

"ah, sh*t," renjun muttered under his breath. the guy was taken aback at how renjun reacted with the situation, and how he jolted from the couch immediately. "i'll get going, hyung."

"alright. thanks for checking."

-your point of view-

"you're too bold, (y/n)."

that cold pair of eyes. those same eyes i received a few days ago greeted me once again. this caused my heart to stagger, and beat out of its usual as i froze in my stance, my eyes fixed on her.

"what..." i simply muttered.

"you really know how to piss me off, don't you?" her brows slowly scowled, radiating a dark aura from her vibe as she stared down on me. "i just figured you lied about your relationship with him."

"it wouldn't be a mere friendly gesture, being too close from each other, right?" as if her gaze was piercing my own eyes, i stepped back, feeling my back hit the wall.

"you're right, but hereㅡ" i was ready to explain all of it to her, but she cut me off with her voice rising, seemingly flicking a calm conversation away.

"you even announced it for the students to hear that you two are dating?!" her eyes basically raged with flame, her steps approaching me slowly. "you don't even know how painful and embarrassing it is for me to have students asking me about it. you're pissing me off so much."

by the moment i heard her speak, i knew it wasn't my time to be calm about the current situation. i don't know where she got the information that i was the one who announced it, but she shouldn't be jumping to conclusions without asking my side.
