"it might be coming true... but it's not how i wanted it to be."

i furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as i saw him pursing his lips into a thin line as if he just said something he didn't want to say.

"what do you mean?" i asked. what does he mean? so... his "love" is already coming true?

...but it's not what how he wanted it to be?

he let out a serene smile as he blew the petal from his open palm. even the way he blows... it's as if i'm seeing a person that belongs to the flowers---what does it mean?

he's simply beautiful.

i shook my thoughts off as i laughed at it in my head.

what the heck, (y/n)? where did you learn that?

"i guess i should let go of that love then," he uttered after blowing the petal away. he started walking through the beautiful flowers hovering us while tucking his hands in his pockets again. i didn't follow him on purpose to observe him walking away.

what are you talking about, huang renjun?

why do i feel like this guy is hiding a lot of things? he can be mysterious and confusing at the same time.

i didn't realize i was staring at his back for awhile until he turned his head to my direction with a small smile.

"why aren't you following me?" he asked as my feet started walking towards him.

"i miss this place," he said, inhaling the air as soon as i walked beside him.

i remained silent as i thought, "i can sense that he used to go here everytime."

he wandered his eyes around until his gaze stopped at a specific tree with flowers blooming with the green leaves. my lips formed a smile as i immediately headed towards the tree.

the crunch of the grass lingered in my ears as i stepped on it while quickening my pace towards the tree. i looked up to admire the flowers as another breeze crashed my body, letting my hair fly through the air with freedom.

i smiled at the sound of the leaves which the wind made. actually, i love everything here. it makes me calm.

renjun walked up on the tiny hill where the tree was. he stood beside me, and said, "refreshing, isn't it?"

"it is." i replied as my eyes bored on the perfect spot to sit. i instantly sat down under the tree, grabbing my bag.

i pulled out a tuna sandwhich as i immediately took a bite from it. i heard renjun chuckle before sitting beside me on the green grass.

"do you want some?" i offered him another sandwich as he shook his head while motioning his hand.

there was a short silence as i continued feeding my growling stomach. i uttered after munching on my food, "when was the last time you went here?"

he stared at the scenery infront of us as if he was trying to remember when was the last time.

i then took the chance to look at him... again. his hair was brushing above his eyes which was caused by the wind blowing gently.

i just have to admit it, i liked him also for his looks before... well almost all of us do at first, right?

"the last time?" he repeated my words before saying, "the last time i went here was also the last time i read it."

i furrowed my eyebrows since he wasn't looking at me; still having his gaze infront of us.

i am really confused about what he's saying. "this was the place where i used to read..." he said earlier. now it's, "the last time i went here was also the last time i read it."
