Mikeala's POV

I crouched under the bed listening to the footsteps making their way up the stairs and through the hallway. I held my breathe as the door to my room slowly swung open. I felt as a fresh batch of tears flowed down my pale cheeks and I struggled to keep quite. The footsteps stopped at the edge of the bed and I shook uncontrollably. Suddenly the bed was flung off of me and into the wall. I screamed and stared in shock. No human could lift a queen sized bed and throw it like that. I struggled to my feet as a tall man grabbed me by my arms and lifted me. He stared me in the eyes and suddenly his pupils turned completely black. He snarled and threw my across the room. I flew into the wall and hit the floor on my side. I cried out in pain as my head smashed into the hard wood floor. The man grabbed me again before I could even comprehend what was happening. Suddenly the door to my room swung open and another guy ran in the room.

"Chase! No!" he yelled as Chase threw his head back and sunk his teeth into my neck. I screamed out as pain seared through my neck. I was aware of a ripping sound as something was torn from my neck. I sank to the ground, falling into unconsiousness.

Ethan's POV

"Chase?" I called running into the two story house. How could I lose him? I thought angrily. I heard a scream upstairs and turned ice cold. "Chase!" I yelled dashing up the stairs. I burst through the door of the girls room just in time to see Chase bite her. "No!" I roared. I grabbed Chase by the back of his shirt and jerked him off of the girl, flinging him into the wall. The girl fell to the floor unconscious and I turned to Chase. "How could you!" I yelled. Chase stood up and glared at me.

"Your not my master!" he growled, crouching. In less than a second Chase was laying dead on the floor. I sucked in a deep breath of air and listened to the steady breathing in the corner of the room.

Mikeala's POV

I awoke in a car. I was alone. My clothes had been changed and a small blanket thrown over me. I sat up and looked out the window to see black. Is it night out? I thought. Suddenly the car door swung open and light shone in my face. I gasped and shielded my eyes. "Oh, sorry." a voice said. I let my eyes adjust and saw a man standing over me. He looked really familiar. He reached his hand out for me to take it and I suddenly remembered. I jerked away from him and screamed.

"Get away from me! Help!" I shrieked. The guy quickly jumped in the car and covered my mouth gently.

"Shh." he said quietly. "I'm not going to hurt you. Trust me." I looked in his eyes and somehow I knew I could believe him, even though he was a complete stranger.
