"I hurried through the woods as the sun slowly came up. I ran in the direction Shadow had pointed me, praying I would get home. Finally I saw the tip of my house. I ran faster when suddenly something smashed into me. I fell to the ground, my head hitting with a sharp thud.

"Ethan?" I whispered. He hovered above me but ducked down.

"Listen to me. Mikeala, you have to run. Damon isn't dead. He's coming after you. Right now. You have to run!" he pulled me up to my feet and pushed me hastily.

"Ethan? Im confused." I said, scared. Ethan was much paler and thinner than he had been. His hair covered his eyes and he had dried blood in the corner of his mouth.

"You have to run! Now go!" he yelled, shoving me again. I turned and ran away from him, panic flooding my senses. I ran back to the woods, screaming for Shadow. Suddenly something big smashed into my back. I fell to the ground, pain shooting through every inch of me. I rolled over on my back and screamed as I saw Damon walk into view. He smiled when he saw me and slowly walked towards me. I crawled backwards, struggling to get away from him but I was too slow. Damon grinned evilly at me before stomping on my leg. I heard my leg snap as my bone was crushed. I screamed out in pain as Damon picked me up.

"Hush now, little girl." he said softly, putting a cloth over my mouth. I struggled to breathe as fumes invaded my lungs. My vision blurred as I fell into a deep sleep.

I awoke in a lite room. I was laying in a queen sized bed. I sat up and screamed as my leg moved. Tears flooded my eyes as I pulled the blanket back. I gasped in shock and leaned over the side of the bed, getting sick. My leg was purple, dark bruises covering it's surface. Jagged bones poked through the skin, not quite making it through the tight flesh. I covered my mouth and screamed again, shock running through my body. Suddenly the door to my room opened. Damon came in through the opening.

"Get away from me!" I screamed, terrified.

"Shh now. I'm not going to hurt you." Damon said, smiling.

"You already hurt me!" I yelled. "Look at my leg!" I sobbed. Damon came and sat behind me on the bed. I jerked trying to get away but screamed again as my leg jerked with me.

"Stay away from me! Your a monster!" I cried.

"So I am. There's nothing you can do." Damon laughed.

"What do you want with me." I whispered. Damon's face softened as he craddled my face in his hands.

"I don't want you, darling. Want your blood." Damon said, suddenly jerking my neck forward and sinking his teeth into my throat. I moaned as fire shot through my viens, making me frozen in shock. Damon growled softly as he released me. He licked his lips and I looked at him. Then I pulled back my arm and punched him as hard as I could in the face. Suddenly the door burst open and Ethan ran through the door. His eyes widened as he saw me and he ran forward, grabbing Damon and jerking him off the bed. Damon spun in the air, landing on his feet.

"You can't beat me." Damon smirked.

"I am just as strong as you are." Ethan growled.

"Oh! But you haven't tasted of her yet." he said, jerking his head towards me. "Her blood holds the power to have the strength to never die. The strength of a thousand vampires." Ethans eyes never left me as he crouched into a attacking position.

"For her, I can kill the worlds most strongest being." Ethan said quietly, suddenly lunging at Damon.

"No!" I screamed as Damon took one step, moving out of Ethan's way and grabbing Ethan by his neck.
