I screamed as I heard a growl behind me. I spun around to see three HUGE wolves. My heart stopped beating as fright filled my lungs. The wolves barked and snapped. The black one howled and lunged at me. I screamed as its huge body knocked into me. I flew into a tree and watched as the three wolves disappeared, chasing after something. Finally the woods became silent and I laid down on the ground, the world swirling around me. I felt the back of my head and looked at my palm. It was to dark to see. I searched frantically for my flashlight but it was gone. I suddenly remembered my phone and grabbed it out of my pocket. I saw the blood on my hand as I turned on the phone, frantically typing in Ethan's number. The phone rang once before cutting me off. I stared at the phone confused before noticing the signal bar. No service. The realization of what just happened finally hit me as I chunked my phone as hard as I could. It hit the ground not that far from me as I felt the strength leave my body. I curled up in a ball on the ground and shut my eyes, waiting for death to take me.
Ethan's POV
somethings wrong. I can feel it. I grabbed my phone and dialed Mikeala's number. It rang over and over again before going to voicemail. I slipped on my shoes and darted out of the house. I ran to Mikeala's house and climbed up the tree next to her window. The feeling of panic encreased as I flung open the window. I ran to the bed and flipped back the covers. "She's gone." I whispered. I noticed her jacket and shoes were gone. I jumped back out the window and headed to the woods, praying that I would find her in time.
