I hurriedly walked to the door and opened it, peeking out. A little girl stood there.
"Master Damon would like you to join him in his chambers." the little girl said.
"Ok. Thanks." I said, fear grasping my chest. The girl nodded and ran back to the room across the hallway. Annabelle was written in black paint across the door. Her age was also on the door, like mine. I gasped as I read the number. 8. How heartless could these people be? To kidnapp a child? I blinked away tears and made my way back downstairs. Once I got to the end of the stairway I realized I had no idea where Damon's chambers were. I made my way from room to room searching for Damon's name on any door.
"What do you think you are doing?" a voice snarled from behind me. I gasped and spun around to face Damon.
"I'm so sorry sir. I was looking for you. But I didn't know where your room was." I stuttered.
"You mean you weren't shown where to go? Annabelle!" Damon yelled. "Get down here now!"
The little girl flew down the stairs and shivered below Damon. "Come here." Damon said sweetly. Annabelle slowly crept up to him and he grabbed her chin, gently pulling it up. "Did you or did you not show Miss Mikeala to my room?"
"N,no master." the child trembled and screamed as Damon slapped her across the face. "You disobeyed so you will be punished. Go get the whip!" annabelle cried and fled the room, returning with a small whip. She handed it to Damon and cried out as he hit her across the chest with it. He continued beating her and I screamed for him to stop. I jumped in-between him and her and cried out as the whip hit me in the cheek.
"What are you doing?" Damon yelled at me. "Get out of the way now!"
"No! She's a child! You can't do this to her! I won't let you! Get away from her!" I screamed at him.
"You hore!" Damon yelled balling up his fists. He swung his arm at me but never made contact. I looked up to see Ethan standing in front of me.
"Leave them be." he growled. Damon cussed but stormed away out of the room. Ethan slowly turned to look at me. His gaze softened when he saw my bloody face.
"Kathrine!" he called. A small girl about 18 came downstairs and gasped when she saw Annabelle.
"Oh baby! What did he do to you this time?" she cried.
"Take her to your room and clean her up please." Kathrine nodded and carefully helped the little girl upstairs. Ethan looked at me and nodded towards the door. I followed him outside and around the house to the woods. We walked for about a hour before finally coming to a stop. Ethan turned towards me and opened his mouth to say something but then closed his mouth again.
"Why?" I asked.
