Accidental Love

Chapter 4

Charlottes POV

After class was over Liam told me what happened with him and Cody in the hallway. I felt so bad for him. He said talking to her made him want her back even more which made me upset. I don't like seeing my best friend so upset.

After class I told Liam I would talk to him at lunch, then walked to my locker. I got my books out for science and checked my phone real quick. It said I had one message from Madison.

From: Madsion<3

Hey you! You never told me about Liam! Come to my locker and talk! I need to know. If you don't come bad things will happen to you. :p So come. NOW.

Wow. My friends are nice aren't they?

To: Madsion<3

Wow. Your nice. And I like when good things happen to me by the way, so that't the only reason I'm coming. :p 

I clicked send then started walking to her locker. When I got there she was just standing in front of It playing some game on her phone.

"Hellllooo." I said.

She suddenly stopped what she was doing at turned to look at me.

"Hey! So...spill! Tell me wha'ts happening between you and Liam!" She said shaking my shoulders.

"I will If you stop shaking me!" I said. She stopped and looked at me and waited for me to tell her. "Okay, when I tell you this, you have to PROMISE me that you will not tell anyone. Not even your parents." She nodded and gave me a face saying to continue what I was saying.

"Okay, Liam and I aren't really going out. Cody broke up with him yesterday and he was so heart broken and really wanted her back. So then he told me that she was the jealous type and stuff, so being the lovely and helpful friend I am, I told him I was going to be his fake girlfriend to help him get her back. And  so far I think It's working." I said. And I just looked at Madison and she looked like she was in the state of shock.

I waved my hand in front of her face, "Hello? Madison?"

"Oh sorry. I'm just letting everything you told me sink in. Ok. I'm good now." She smiled.

I chuckled, "Good."

"Anyways Isn't It awkward being Liam's girlfriend considering you two are like best friends?" She asked.

"Um, yeah sometimes It gets awkward but I don't really care. I'm doing this so he can get Cody back and that's all that matters." I said shrugging.

"Ok. But say you've guys have been fake dating for like almost a month or two and he gets her back. You won't feel abandoned right? Like you won't have feelings for him and feel jealous at all?" She asked as we walked to our next class.

Madison was right. What If I really do fall for Liam? I highly guarantee that I won't but still. I don't know.

"Um. I think I'll be ok. I mean I'll still have him as a best friend and he'll be happy again which would make me happy. So no, I don't think I would feel any of that." I said. Madison just simply nodded her head as we walked into our first class.

What she said stuck to my mind. Hopefully what she said won't actually happen.

After what seemed like a very long day, school was finally over. I was walking home from school because I wanted to think and I needed some air.

Now I was kinda scared. What If I do start to like Liam? I know I'm probably overreacting but I was just scared. As I was walking home a car pulled up next to me.

"Hey Char! Why are you walking home?" Liam's voice spoke. I stopped walking and walked up to his car. I was standing outside of the car, the window was rolled down so I could talk to him.

"Um, I just needed some fresh air and to think." I shrugged.

"Think? Think about what?" He asked.

I didn't want to tell him, so I just made up an excuse.

"Um, well, I just have a lot of homework and I'm just stressed out about it."

He nodded his head in reply, although I knew he knew that I was lying.

"Okay, well, Cody invited me to this party later tonight. She said you could come too. You wanna?" He asked.

I could either stay home and do my homework on a Friday night, or I could go and have fun at a party.

Party it is.

"Yeah sure I'll come! When does It start?" I asked.

"I'll just text you and come and pick you up later. Is that alright?" I nodded my head in reply.

"Okay cool! Now get in the car. Your house Is like another five blocks from here." He said opening the door for me.

I chuckled and got in.

I just finished curling the tips of my hair and putting on makeup. I put on a thin layer of eye liner, mascara, some foundation, and lip gloss. I headed over to my closet to pick something out to wear.

I decided to wear a simple red tanktop, skinny jeans, a leather jacket, and some black ankle boots.

As I was finishing the finishing touches on my outfit I got a text from Liam.

MysexyBff- (Liam chose that name by the way)

Hey! I'm outside love:) Come when you're ready! :) Xx

I texted back a simple 'Ok:)' before walking outside. When I got to Liam's car he was leaned up against It waiting for me.

"Hey! You ready?" He asked.

"Yeah! I'm excited!" I said smiling as he opened up the car door for me.

Hopefully this party will get my mind off of what Madison said earlier today.
