Charlottes POV
It was already Monday. The weekend flew by so fast, and I was sad knowing I had to go to school.
So this weekend, Liam and I hung out. He took me to the park on Saturday and It was a lot of fun. Then he took me out for some ice cream, and we ended the day with a picnic on this hill he somehow found, which really made me happy.
And you know what's really bad about all this?
I feel like I'm falling for Liam every second I'm with him. He just makes me feel like a better person. Every guy at school would only like me because of my looks and my ass, which was very disturbing by the way.
But when I'm with Liam, I feel like he really understands me. He knows who I really am, and I find myself falling for him now. So, I'm making this official.
I like Liam.
But he probably doesn't like me back. This weekend, he's been telling me everything there is to know about Cody. He still loves her, and sadly, I can't change his feelings.
I was currently walking to school. What I was wearing was really nothing special. My hair was in a ponytail, I was wearing yoga pants, and a sweat shirt with our school name on it, I was wearing all of this because It was really cold outside.
I finally approached the school not bothering to look up from my phone. As soon as I heard my name being shouted from the other end of the hallway, I put my phone in my pocket that was attached to my sweatshirt.
"Charlotte!" The voice screamed again. By the sound of the voice I knew who it was.
Liam.
Liam was running down the hallway coming towards me.
"Hey Li, whats wro-" I couldn't finish my sentence because my feet were lifted off the ground, I felt Liam's warm embrace as he spun me around. I wrapped my arms around his neck smiling and giggling to what Liam is currently doing.
"Okay Li, you better put me down before I puke." I said laughing.
My feet finally touched the ground, as he let me down, my arms still remained around his neck. I was now face to face with him, I smiled to myself happy to be in his arms and see his beautiful dark eyes.
"Somebody is very happy today." I said poking his nose.
"Yes, I am happy, and the reason I did that was because somebody didn't bother to call me this morning for a ride, which ended up with me being very worried. So when you walked in, I felt relieved to see you." He said smiling at me.
"Oh, sorry Li. I forgot to text you saying that I was walking to school." I said, feeling very guilty.
Liam chuckled, "It's ok Char. Just, don't let it happen again." He smiled.
I simply, nodded looking at the ground. I felt Liam's finger under my chin, moving it up so I could see his eyes. He smiled and I smiled back.
I soon felt the both of us leaning in. I felt my heart beating so fast.
Our lips were just about to touch. "Hey gu-" Cody's voice spoke.
She looked hurt by the seen that stood in front of her, but her look quickly changed to happy again.
"Um, sorry. Was I interrupting?" She asked.
"Yeah kinda." I mumbled to myself looking at the ground. I said it quiet enough so that nobody could hear it except me.
"No, it's okay. What's up?" Liam asked Cody.
She shrugged her shoulders, "Nothing much. Just came to talk to you guys, and I see you're back together. That's great." She said, smiling. But I knew it was fake.
"Yeah, Liam explained what happened and I forgave him." I said smiling at Liam.
"Oh that's awesome you guys! Okay, well I'll talk to you later. Bye!" Cody said before quickly running off.
I sighed, "I should get going too. I'll see you later Li." I said, hugging him.
During the hug he whispered in my ear, "I need to talk to you at lunch. I'll see you later." He said breaking out of the embrace. He smiled at me before heading off to class.
I made my way to my locker and got everything I needed. Wonder what he wanted to tell me?
~At lunch~
I quickly made my way towards lunch wanting to know what Liam wanted to tell me.
As I entered, I saw Liam sitting at a table with all his friends.
He was sitting with Niall, Louis, Harry, and Zayn. There all really nice kids. All of them know about Liam and I, but they don't know that were faking it.
I smiled walking over to their table.
'Hi guys." I said smiling to them and waving.
I got reply's saying 'hey', 'hi', or 'hey Char.'
"So Liam, you wanted to tell me something?" I asked him.
"Oh yeah! Be right back lads." He said getting up from his chair.
I smiled one last time at the lads before Liam grabbed my hand dragging me out of the cafeteria.
"So what was it that you wanted to tell me?" I asked him.
"Okay, Char. I noticed that, um. Sometimes when we're together, we always almost um. Kiss. Which isn't a bad thing, I just think that now is not really a good time to actually kiss. We should save it when were in front of Cody or something like that." Liam shrugged his shoulders looking at the ground.
I chuckled to myself, "I understand Liam. It's totally fine." I said smiling.
"Okay good. We'll just save that kiss for a special day" He said.
I started to laugh a bit, "That's a tad cheesy mate." I said patting his back before walking back into the cafeteria.
Instead of sitting with Liam and his friends, I walked over to where my friends were sitting. They said 'hellos' to me and I replied back with a smile. They continued with their conversations but I wasn't really paying attention.
I was just thinking about what Liam said.
Looks like I'm gonna have to wait for that kiss.
Yay.
