Accidental Love

Chapter 2

Liam's POV

Well, it's been a day since me and Cody broke up. I know I said Charlotte made me feel better, but I'm still a wreck. I miss Cody a lot and I'm really hoping Charlotte's plan goes well.

Speaking of Charlotte's plan, today is the day we start fake dating.

I just hope this isn't going to be awkward considering she's my best friend, but I think it'll be ok.

I'm currently driving to Charlotte's house to pick her up and drive her to school.

She said that if we arrive at school together it may get people talking. But we drive to school with each other all the time so I don't know what she means.

I finally arrived at her house and pull up into her driveway. 

The reason I'm driving her to school is because she got in trouble and got her car taken away, and her parents are at work around this time so she needs a ride and refuses to take the bus.

I texted her saying I was here and she came out a minute later.

Her black long hair was perfectly curled and she was wearing a baggy top with black leggings and grey ugg boots. That's what their called right?

"Hey.' She said smiling at me.

"Hello love." I said smiling back. " So what's the plan?" I asked as we drove to school.

"Um, well I don't really have a plan, so I guess we'll just have to wing it." She said shrugging.

"Alright, that's cool with me."

" Cool, so how have you been? Any better since yesterday?" she asked looking at me.

"Um, after you talked to me yesterday I honestly felt a little bit better. But when I got home I felt like shit again. I didn't fall asleep until 3:00 AM."

Charlotte sighed, "I knew i should've stayed with you last night."

"No, don't think it's your fault. I had a lot of free time to think and got support from my family too. So I feel better now. "

"Ok good." Charlotte said smiling.

After our little conversation in the car, we finally arrived at school.

We both got out of the car and started to walk in the school.

As we were walking in, at the corner of my eye I quickly spotted Cody talking to some of her friends. Her blonde hair was straight and she looked quite dressy for school. But she still looked beautiful.

I'm guessing Charlotte spotted her too.

"Liam, quickly hold my hand."

I obeyed what she said and I held her hand. As soon as her hand touched mine, I felt something. But I just don't know what.

I just simply ignored it.

We passed by Cody holding hands, and I swear she looked pretty guilty and maybe a bit angry.

We entered school still holding hands and she quickly let go once she realized we still were.

"Do you think that worked?" She asked.

"Yeah I'm pretty sure, she looked quite pissed when we passed by so I think it's working." I said smiling.

"Ok cool! Well I'm gonna go to my locker and head to class." she said returning my smile walking away.

"Wait Char." I said grabbing her arm.

She turned around and looked up at me because she was incredibly short and I was tall compared to her.

"Thanks for doing this for me. I'm starting to feel better. You really are awesome." I said.

She smiled, "Li, It's really no problem. It's the least I can do. You've done so much for me already."

I pulled her into a hug. Her head rested on my chest while I rested my head on hers.

"Li, as much as I wanna stand here hugging you I don't want another detention for being late to class again."

I chuckled, " Alright, I'l see you later love."

She smiled at me and walked away with her other friends by her side.

How did I get so lucky to have a friend like her?

Yeah I know this chapter sucks, but it's gonna get a whole lot better!

Oh and by the way, just imagine that Liam looks like the way he did when he was on the X-factor. You know when he had long hair. Yeah.
