Charlott'es POV

I didn't cry, I didn't pout. But what I did do, was ponder.

This wasn't normal to me, avoiding Liam at all costs and running away from him like he was some stranger to me. I never thought that I would be running from him, because I have feelings for him..

Yes, of course I lied to him, and I'm nearly thanking god that Cody called him before I could admit it to him. If he knew that I did, it would've made this situation a whole lot more compliacted than it should be. And not to mention awkward.

By the time I reached my house it was nearly 1:45 in the morning, I thought I have been out longer but with the argument with Liam and walking around for a while, I started to get tired again. Just like I expected it was dark and quiet when I walked inside. I headed towards my bedroom, but as I passed my mom's room I saw a faint light inside. Is she awake?

I creaked open the door, seeing that my mom was fast asleep but the Tv was on this time. She must have woken up in the middle of the night. I walked inside, trying my best not to make any noise. Right before I made my way towards the tv, I saw something that was lying next to her head.

As I approached closer, and once realizing what it was, It felt like a bomb dropped in my stomach and I felt the color drain from my face.

I picked up the empty beer bottle, looking at my mother's sleeping figure in dispute. I didn't want to be near her now, so I took the bottle and slammed the door shut, not caring if it made a loud slam.

You've got to be fucking kidding me, first Liam now this?!

I was now both physically and emotionally drained as I climbed into my bed, ready to fall into a deep sleep. As I fell asleep I was mentally preparing myself for what is to come when I open my eyes once again.

I woke up by the sound of my phone dinging. I ignored it, thinking it was Madison or something, but then I heared it again.

I groaned, picking my body up from my bed squinting my eyes from the sunlight...

I got a text message from some number

Hey Charlotte! It's Rose, just wanted to see if you and Madison could come in today? If you can that would be great, were short on people. Come as soon as possible thanks ! x

"Ugh, fuck no!" I groaned to myself, throwing my head in my pillow. I was in no mood to go to work today, espically after everything that happened last night...well this morning I guess.  Even though I'm furious with my mom, I still promised and I don't like breaking them. I don't even know the whole story yet with the drinking so I might as well wait until I get home and let her explain everything to me herself.

"Madison?" I held the phone between my ear and shoulder as I walked around my room trying to get dressed.

"We gotta go in today, their running short on people." I was surprised when she said an easy 'okay' then hung up the phone, at least she's not in a bitchy mood today.

When I was done getting ready, I grabbed my phone praying to god that my mom wasn't awake so I don't have to have that conversation with her yet, and to my luck she was no where to be found as I approached the front door.
