Accidental Love

Chapter 5

Liams POV

As Charlotte walked out of the house I couldn't help but stare at her. She looked absolutley beautiful! She usually wears sweats to school. Which Is one of the things I like about her, but tonight she looked more beautiful than ever. Not that she doesn't always look like this but still.

 "Hey! You ready?" I asked her with a smile.

"Yeah! I'm so excited!" She said returning the smile.

I went to her side to open the door for her and she slid in the passengers side. I quickly shut her door and ran to the drivers side. I got in started driving to Cody's house.

I turned on the radio and started singing along to whatever was playing. As the song ended I noticed Charlotte just starring out the window.

"Char you ok?" I asked turning down the music. She quickly snapped out of whatever she was thinking and looked at me.

"Yeah of course I'm fine." She responded.

"Well why are you so quiet. What are you thinking about?" I asked now concerned.

"Liam I told you before. I have a lot of homework and I'm stressed about it. So don't worry I'm fine." She told me before looking out the window again.

"Char c'mon, you and I both know that you're lying. And plus you never get this stressed about homework, especially over the weekend. So please tell me what's wrong." I asked looking at her.

She took in a deep breath before speaking.

"Okay, the only reason I didn't want to tell you about this is because I didn't want to make it a big deal, but you got it out of me. So earlier today Madison and I were talking about our fake relationship and she brought something up that for some reason won't leave my mind. She said that what if we stay in this 'relationship' for awhile and you get Cody back, what If I actually start to like you and have feelings for you which I highly doubt but still. It could happen Li."

Wow. I didn't know that was on her mind. But what she said made me think too. I mean Charlotte is such a wonderful girl. She's so beautiful, funny, caring, smart, and so many other great things. Who wouldn't fall for a girl like her?

I don't think I'll fall for her because I like Cody right? Right. I like Cody.

The car was very silent before I spoke up.

"Do you really think that will happen Char?" I asked wanting to know the answer.

She shrugged, "It could happen but I don't think It will. But just drop it for now Li. Please, I don't wanna talk about it."

I just simply nodded.

"Ok well, just to let you know. I think It might happen too. But I said might. So I don't think It will happen." I honestly said. I looked over at her and saw a small smile on her face along with a little blush. I just chuckled at her reaction.

We finally pulled into Cody's driveway and you could already hear loud blaring music playing from the backyard. We got out of the car and made our way to where the party was. I quickly placed Charlotte's hand in mine and we entwined our fingers.

'Liam, you know we don't have to hold hands." She said chuckling.

"Yeah I know. But I want to." I said smiling. She looked away trying not to smile while a small blush appeared on her cheeks. I love that I have that affect on her.

Charlotte and I made our way to the backyard where we were greeted by everyone.

"Hey Charlotte! Looking good tonight babe."
