"I don't know what to say to you...I honestly do not."
"I don't deserve you anything from you...But...Stevie you've gotta believe me when I say I'd do anything if it'd make you happy."
"Finding you fvcking another woman is not making me happy! If you can't be true to me then how can you be to a child!?"
"It's true...You're really..." He stared at my stomach, what he'd ruined for us apparently dawning upon him.
"I went to the doctor, so yes."
"What...What are we going to do?"
"What am I going to do? What are you going to do Lindsey? You just got married to a woman half your age, five minutes after...After...Ripping my heart out."
"I didn't see you forgiving me anytime soon, and I didn't even know you were alive! So I thought it would be best for Will."
"What about what's best for me? Fvck you Lindsey! Fvck you!" I hurried up the stairs but he followed me.
"Be careful, just one slip and you could...Our baby."
Our baby. This was real and he was part of it forever now.
"It's a she," I stated, looking away from him as my eyes brimmed with more liquid.
"That's...That's amazing..." He fumbled, wiling away his own tears, looking more guilt-ridden than ever, probably realising that she was old enough to have been growing inside of me as he betrayed me before my eyes. I glared as he opened my bedroom door for me, blanking him.
"Please Stevie just rest, this fighting isn't doing any of us any good."
I laid down on my side facing the window. Facing away from him.
"Can I get you anything?" He asked meekly from the doorway, I shifted a little, sighing as I chewed my lip and wondered whether to speak.
"I thought you loved me Lindsey," I said quietly, more to myself than him. Turning, I realised he'd already left the room.
