I sit across from your face and I bury myself in your blankets
you look at your video games
and I look at you
I smile and hold on to your leg
do you love me?
I think you do.
you and I go to see deadpool and you whisper in my ear
"this is love."
I smile.
do you love me?
I know you do.
you are under stress and your entire world is collapsing.
your eyes don't have the same fire in them.
so I ask you,
do you love me?
and you in turn say
"I don't know."
