Jade's dress.
Blake's pov.
'Welcome back slackers.' Coach Rick yells at me and Jade as we jogg up to him. He's setting up cones, which means sprints. Great..
'I'm happy to be back.' I say.
'Not as happy as I am.' Jade punches my arm and joggs off to talk to some of the other football players. I really have to get used to her having a lot of guy friends. I kind of really hate it.
'Blake!' Coach yells in my face.
'What?!'
'Stop staring at Jade, it's creepy.' He smirks knowingly.
I narrow my eyes at him and walk away.
'Come on boys, let's huddle up!' I yell and they all come running. They circle up around me, while coach Rick is on my right and Jade is smirking to my left.
I wink at her and smile when she blushes.
'Okay, I know I haven't been here to lead you guys but I'm here for good now. And we are more than ready to kick some ass on Friday. Right?'
'Hell yeah!' They cheer unison.
'Alright now get your asses on the field and Jordan lead stretches, I need to talk to this beautiful girl beside me for a second.' Jade blushes again and glares at me.
'Lets go!' Jordan yells and they circle up on the field and start their stretching.
I turn towards Jade and walk straight up to her and kiss her senseless before she has the chance to say anything.
When she pulls away she speaks hovering above my lips.
'I thought we weren't kissing in front of the team.' She breathes out her chest heaving.
'I don't give a fùck about them.' I pause to get myself ready to say this again. 'I love you, Jade Elizabeth Lawson. I've loved you since the day I saw you. I know that sounds cheesy but I don't care. You have me wrapped so tightly around your finger. And I am not ashamed of it.' She stares at me blinking, with her mouth gaped open. 'Say something, baby please.' I beg feeling embarrassed for saying these things to her, while she stands there looking unsure.
'I-I.' She starts but she gets cut off.
'Jade! Go get more cones from the coaches closet!' Coach yells. 'And Rivers, get your ass out here!'
Jade nods and looks at me apologetically but turns anyways and runs to the closet.
I feel my heart drop, but I should be so used to this but, it never fails to hurt me when she closes me off. I don't why I thought this time would be different.
I sigh and jog out to the field for sprints.

After practice I hurried and got a shower but when I came out Jade was gone. Typical, she runs away from her feeling all the time.
I walk to my dorm, in no hurry to start my night of sulking. I open the door and I'm engulfed with the smell of food. I look up and see Jade in a short red dress that was tight on her small waist and then flowed out to her mid thigh. Showcasing her long toned legs, that made me weak in the knees. She had on black high heels making her calf muscles stretch.
'Hi baby.' She says walking up to me and kisses my cheek. I'm too stunned to say anything so I just watch as she brings me to the table that is set up with candles and two plates.
