I keep my self in a cage
A cage of insecurities and rage
I tell myself I'll set myself free
I tell myself that someday I'll be
Be that girl that never gave a shit
Be the girl who loved and did in her own will
Someday I'll be out of this cage
Someday I will let out all my rage
Probably go on a freaking rampage
But I'm stuck in this cage
Flooded with rage
And someday you'll find
The key that's in my mind
Stick it in the keyhole and set me free
From the cage that kept me
Dreaming my dreams
The cage that kept me from
Loving my loved ones.
A/N. Hi! Sorry for this corny poem. I'm not this emotional, don't worry. I was laughing when I write this (lies). Anyway, I hope you liked it! I'll be posting a new imagine soon, and probably another short. :3
