Poem #86: "Soundless Reminder"

I'm given a constant reminder;

A soundless silent reminder

That I do not exist

I tell her I'm real, but she always persist

I'm not real...

That's just how it is.

So I wait and I wonder

The belief of my mother

My entire existence is one huge blunder

I wait for a change

But that change is deranged

Another constant reminder;

A soundless silent reminder.
