Chapter 45

Months later...

Demi's POV

What're we watching?" Justin asked, gently plopping down beside me on the sofa as some dull family sitcom flashes across the television screen.

"Not this." I replied, changing the channel. As I scroll through the countless shows, Justin turned his attention to our baby girl, who was sitting on the floor in front of us, fumbling with some plastic toys.

"Hey baby!" Justin cooed, leaning down to her. "Hi!" Delilah smiled and giggled, putting her hand in her mouth.

"HA!" I suddenly said, chuckling as I landed on a channel.

"Well lookie here..." I smirk as the opening beats of the Somebody To Love music video play through the flatscreen's speakers. Justin groaned and tilted his head back.

"Oh god." he groaned, laughing to himself. I pulled my attention back to the screen and watched the younger version of my husband dance around with Usher and all these different groups of dancers and do constant hair flips that girls went crazy for...cough including myself cough. My gaze then went to my baby girl, whose eyes seem to be totally fixed on the television as well. She suddenly turned to face me.

"Dada?" she said, turning her head back and forth from the screen to me and Justin. I felt my jaw drop and me and Justin just exchanged looks of bewilderment before scooting down to join her.

"Dada?" she repeats, reaching her little hand out to touch Justin's.

"Yes!" Justin cried, with the biggest grin on his face. "Yes! Dada!" He exchanged another look with me before wiping at his eyes, trying to wipe away the tears of joy streaming down his face.

"Aww!" I said hugging Justin and kissed his cheek. "That is so cute, good girl Delilah!" I picked her up and kissed all over her chubby face, making her laugh in the process. Her laugh was a lot like mine. I find it annoying sometimes but Justin thinks it's super sexy. Yeah he's WAY off.

Time skip... to Delilah's first birthday...

Demi's POV

Delilah's birthday is today but sadly it was too cold to have her party outside. Thankfully we had a back plan to have it indoors. Everything was decorated. Myself and Justin decided to keep the theme simple; the plates had "Happy 1st Birthday" on them in all different colours. We invited both our parents and a few other family members and some of Delilah's friends with their parents. The kids were running around in the living room. The kids shrill voices broke out as they burst ran around the living room where myself, Justin and the adults had been together. Justin caught Delilah, "It's cake time!"

Everyone headed into our big dining room area and I took out a nice chocolate cake with pink icing and a picture of Delilah on it. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to her, Justin's hands on my waist as he sang beautifully. He leaned down and blew out the candle with Delilah and cut it. Everyone was enjoying it but Justin had disappeared. I didn't even know where he went as I was busy cleaning up Delilah getting ready to open presents. Everyone gathered in the living room and waited, I was holding Delilah on my lap.

"We have to wait for Justin. Where did he go?" I questioned, staring at Pattie, Justin's mom, but she had no idea either. He came back in with a big box.

"This is for my baby girl." He said proudly, and everyone awed. He placed it down and his mom helped her open it as I glared at him.

"What did you get her?" I whispered in his ear.

"Don't worry Dems." He turned me around so I could watch her open it and held me.

Justin's mom pulled out a massive teddy bear and let out a gasp.

"Oh..my...gosh...Justin, it's perfect." I said kissing his cheek. This bear was huge, it was a nice chocolatey brown colour. It had Delilah's name in bold italics in pink and a heart on it's stomach. I just hope it can fit in her bedroom.

"Look how happy she is." Justin pointed out.

"I love it, J. It's adorable."

Delilah obviously loved it too she was squealing with excitement and stroking its fur. I've never seen her smile so big, it was a heartwarming thing to see. Best first birthday ever.
