Chapter 28

A few weeks go by...

Justin's POV

It's time. It's the day of our wedding. Selena gave me an update of how everything looks and who got invites. It's making me even more excited. She also told me how she's got a surprise to give me after the wedding. I can't wait to see what it is.... Gonna get myself ready and get out the house.

I'm dressed up in my best suit and arrive at the church and look around in total awe. Selena chose the perfect church. All the decoration and the designs were done to perfection and just the way I thought it would be. This is it. Today's the day of my wedding and I'm waiting at the altar and I can't even contain my emotions right now. My entire family and friends and Demi's entire family and friends are here, even Nyah and her mom. I see the bridesmaids come down the aisle: Selena and our other friend Miley, being escorted by Nick and Joe, Kevin was sitting with Demi's family. I only knew the Jonas Brothers through Demi and they're pretty close to her so I guess they were best choice for best men. Demi's younger cousins are flowergirls and they are the most cutest things ever.  

I hear the priest say, "Heavenly Father, Justin Bieber and Demetria Lovato are now about to vow their unending loyalty to each other. We ask you to accept the shared treasure of their life together, which they now create and offer to You. Grant them everything they need, that they may increase in their knowledge of You throughout their life together in the name of Jesus. Amen.  

All please rise for the bride." as a signal for everyone to stand up.

I saw Demi come down the aisle in the most stunning white dress I've ever seen in my life. She was slowly walking in with her dad linking arms. When she reaches the altar, she kissed her dad on the cheek and he went to go sit down next to Demi's mom. Everyone's already getting teary-eyed.

I can't believe this day has finally come. I'm marrying Demi...I don't think it's hit me yet. Standing opposite me is the most beautiful human being I've ever come across in my entire life. I'm on such a positive vibe right now, everything's built up to this day. After everything that Demi and I have been through has had its ups and downs, but we've stuck together and got through it as a strong couple...and now I'm glad to say that she's gonna be a Bieber. Happiest day of my life.

Back to reality.....

The priest goes on to say,

"All may be seated. We gathered here today on this glorious occasion in the sight of God and in the face of this company, marking the marriage of Justin Drew Bieber and Demetria Devonne Lovato. God has joined these two together and are about to spend the rest of their lives together.  

Justin and Demetria have prepared their own vows but before I go on, I must ask these three questions.  

Justin and Demetria, have you come here freely and without reservation to give yourselves to each other in marriage?"

Demi and I reply in unison "Yes."

"Will you honour each other as husband and wife for the rest of your lives?"

"Yes."

"Finally, will you accept children lovingly from God and bring them up according to the law of our Lord Jesus Christ and His Church?"

"Yes."

"Very well. Justin and Demetria, please join hands and let us start with the vows."

Demi and I hold hands tightly.

The priest looks at me and speaks up,

"Justin, you may now say your vows."

I clear my throat before I speak.

"Demi, I promise to love and care for you, and I will try in every way to be worthy of your love. I love you for your beauty, your intelligence, your kindness...and for the way you always know how to make me feel so special. 

I will always be honest with you, kind, patient and forgiving. I promise to be a true and loyal friend to you. I will love you, hold you and honour you always, I will respect you, encourage you and cherish you, in health and sickness, through sorrow and success, for all the days of my life. I take you as my wife, acknowledging and accepting your faults and strengths, as you do mine. I promise to be faithful and supportive and to always make our family's love and happiness my priority. I'll forever appreciate how lucky I am to have someone who makes me feel the way you do and to continue to try as hard as I can to make you feel as special as you make me feel, forever and ever."

She stared into my eyes with tears in her own. Our hands held tight together still.

The priest went on to say, "Demetria, you may now say your vows."

She sniffled a couple times before gaining her composure saying,

"Justin, in your eyes, I have found my home. In your heart, I have found my love. In your soul, I have found my mate. 

When I'm with you, I feel whole and alive, like I'm actually worth something. 

You make me laugh. You let me cry on your shoulder. You are my breath, my every heartbeat. I'm forever yours. You are mine. I take you as my husband, acknowledging and accepting your faults and strengths, as you do mine. On this day, I give you my heart, my promise, that I will walk with you, hand in hand, 

wherever our journey leads us, living, learning, loving...together, forever. I love you with all my heart, Justin."

At this point, we're both kind of emotional wrecks, all teary eyed.

The rings are brought up to the aisle.

The priest continues."Grant those who wear them always have deep faith in each other. May they do your will and always live together in peace, harmony, good will and love. These rings are blessed in the name of the Son, the Father and the Holy Spirit."

I take the beautiful diamond ring and put it on Demi's finger and Demi does the same thing to me.

The priest finally says, "Now that Justin and Demetria have given themselves to each other by the promises they have exchanged, it is my pleasure to now pronounce you husband and wife, in the name of the Son, the Father and the Holy Spirit. Justin, you may now kiss your bride."

I carefully lift her lovely veil over her head and she's got the biggest smile on her face. I slowly lean in and kiss her passionately, full of lust and love. I don't know what it is but whenever I kiss her, our lips just instantly connect and the kiss is just really powerful and magical. It's real cute. I pulled away and stared into her deeply alluring brown eyes.

"It is now my privilege to introduce to everyone for the first time, Mr and Mrs Bieber!" The priest states with pride to the congregation. Everyone claps and smiles at us with teary eyes.

We did it, we're finally married. All that hard work has finally paid off and God has given us this day to finally tie the knot. This is the best day of my life. Mr and Mrs Bieber, I love it.
