Justin's POV
We got home, avoiding the paps once again and I locked the door behind me. All that rehearsing has made me tired. I need a well deserved nap. "Dems? I'm gonna take a nap okay?" I took off my hoodie and shoes and laid down on our massive sofa.
"Okay!" she replied. She was in the kitchen. "But I want you to keep me company..." I added.
"I'll be right there, J.." she yelled. She came back in the room. She'd taken off her shoes already. She came and laid next to me and I wrap my arms around her waist, not letting go. She was rubbing my arm in comfort and whispering how much she loves me. "Thanks beautiful.." I say into her ear. "No problem J."
I wake up to Demi shifting and trying to get out of my grip. Once again, not gonna happen dude. Every time she would try and get up, I'd pull her right back down. "I want you to stayyyy..." I sung, staring at her. She was just looking at me as if I had gone mad. "Justin, number one, don't sing Rihanna to me like that and number 2...I wanna get something to eat..." She said giggling and trying to pull her arm away from me. I think she's been secretly working out and not telling me. Whenever she pulls my arm like this, I keep thinking it's gonna actually come off. She's getting too strong now, she got out my grip and walked away into the kitchen quickly before I could grab her again. I watch her grab her plate and sit on one of the dining room chairs. She looks up every now and then smiling at me, then going back to her phone. Her phone all of a sudden gave out a loud ring causing her to jump a little. "It's my mom." she told me. I nodded at her. She answered the phone.
"Hi Mom. Yeah, I'm great. Yeah Justin's fine too. Yep. Yep. Yes Mom." I heard her say. I sat next to her wondering what she was talking about. "Sure, that'll be great, can't wait to see her! I haven't seen her in a while...yeah...yeah I'm free...okay thanks Mom! Okay I'll see you soon...love you too, bye." she pressed End Call and put the phone down.
"Well?..." I asked curious. "What did she say?"
"She just wanted to know how we're doing, I told her I'm doing fine and you're fine, then she started nagging at me for something, I wasn't completely listening to her at that point, she always has to nag at me for something stupid...anyways...she asked me if I was free to look after my mom friend's baby daughter because my mom and her friend are travelling for a few days. My mom's on her way now. Don't worry, we'll be fine..." she was stroking my face trying to reassure me that it wasn't that big of a deal. I started rub my hands. Worried? Pfft, I'm not worried at all, it's just a little baby, what's the worst that could happen? The baby might hate me and then Demi will start hating me because I can't look after it...NOT A TEENY TINY BIT WORRIED...
"Ding dong" the doorbell rang. Uh oh. Demi patted my back and got up to answer the door. "Hey Mom!" "Hi Dems!" "Hello Nyah, I missed you so much!" she spoke in a childish voice. Nyah must be the baby. "Here's all her stuff, it's quite a lot and you got my number if you need anything." Demi's mom said. "Yes mother, Justin and I will take good care of her. We'll be fine, won't we Justin?" she shouted at me. Quick Justin. Answer. Don't sound too panicked. "Yes, perfectly fine Demi!" I tried to sound as happy as possible. "Good," Demi's mom replied. "You have fun and Nyah, you have to be a good girl for Aunty Demi and Uncle Justin, okay?" I heard her kiss the baby and Nyah made cute babbling noises.
"Thanks again Dems, I love you!" she shouted. "Love you too, mom. Have fun!" I heard her shut and lock the door. I went to go and sit on the sofa.
I heard Demi talk to Nyah in her childish voice again and came into the living room. Demi walked back and was holding Nyah's hand. The cutest little thing ever was waddling slightly behind Demi. Demi sat down next to me and Nyah was just standing in front of us, staring at our faces.
