Reina: Of all the stories I could have adapted from, I naturally choose the a violent one. Here we go!
By the way, some of the characters will be OOC. This merely due to how the fairy tale works.
Original Fairy Tale Name: The Robber Bridegroom
Classification: Aarne-Thompson Type 955 - The Robber Bridegroom
Writer(s): Brothers Grimm
Once upon a time, there lived a miller. He had a beautiful daughter that was named Camilla. She had long violet hair and a body to kill for. Despite her beauty, her father was desperate for a man to marry her. This didn't make Camilla happy, as she wanted to live her life as she wanted to, but she knew better than to anger her father, so she stilled her tongue.
One day Camilla was helping her father out when a man came up to them. He wore a rather exquisite suit that was covered in gold and silver. He gave off an aura of power, and his eyes seemed kindly.
"Are you the miller?" He asked Camilla's father.
"Yes," the father replied.
"Your daughter Camilla is rather beautiful. I intend to marry her."
Camilla was surprised. While she was beautiful, she was used to people ignoring her, as she was the miller's daughter. Before she could protest, her father replied, "Yes, you can marry her."
The next few days were weird for Camilla. Everyday, her suitor would visit her, and he kept commenting on her beauty, making her uneasy. She eventually got used to it, and thought nothing more of it until her suitor, named Nergal, approached her angrily one day.
"You never visit me, Camilla."
"I'm helping my father," she replied.
"You should stop by one day."
Camilla felt uneasy. She slowly nodded her head.
"Good girl... The trail of ashes shall led you to my house." With that Nergal was gone.
Camilla gulped. Why had he insisted on doing this? She was perfectly content with staying at home. Eventually, she decided to go visit Nergal a few days later, but brought unbaked beans with her to leave a trail for her to follow.
She started to follow the path, which lead deeper and deeper into the forest. As she was reaching the end of the beans, Camilla approached a small house.
Is this where Nergal lives? She asks herself. Slowly, she opened the door and poked her head in. "Hello?"
"Turn back!"
"I'm sorry?" Camilla asks.
"Turn back!" Camilla gaped at the voice's owner. It was a bird in the cage. And it was talking to her.
"Leave now, ye poor lass!" The bird yelled.
Before Camilla could leave, an old woman shuffled to the bird. "Shut up!" The old woman yelled. She shook her head and looked at the door, only to see Camilla standing there.
"Oh no..." The woman whispered. She dashed to Camilla and grabbed her hand. She then dragged Camilla to the edge of the room, where she opened the floor and shoved Camilla there, only to drop the floorboards later.
"Stay quiet," the old woman warned. "If you don't they'll kill you and eat you."
Camilla gulped but remained quiet. After a few minutes, she heard several people approach - five males and one female.
"Welcome..." One of the men said.
"Unhand me!" The woman demanded.
The men laughed. After a few seconds, a sword was unsheathed. Camilla looked up through the floorboards as the men killed the young woman. She gaped at them. One of the men was Nergal.
As the began to prepare the woman for food, one of the men cut the woman's hand, causing one of the fingers to fly away. It hit the floorboard and fell through a hole. Camilla grabbed the finger and noticed an ornate ring on it.
"Where'd the finger go?" Nergal asked.
"It's not important," the woman replied. "Besides, it's rather small." The woman then handed the men drinks. A few minutes later, all of the men had fallen asleep. The woman then approached the floorboards where Camilla was and let her out.
"Lead the way!" She hissed. Camilla nodded and dashed out of the place with the old woman following. The ashes on the path were gone, but the beans were embedded int the ground, pointing the way home. Eventually, Camilla made it home.
"Thank you," she told the old woman.
"You're welcome..." The woman replied. She then walked off and headed on to her own home.

Four days passed, and it was Camilla's wedding day. Before she could go to the altar, her best friend Xander asked for her to tell a tale.
"Alright," she replied. She then began to tell a tale.
"I dreamt that last night, I was in a cave. I was chained up and helpless. Five men surrounded me and laughed."
Nergal and his four groomsmen shifted their feet. Camilla noticed this and laughed. "Don't worry, Nergal. It's just a dream. Anyway, these man had killed a woman and ate her in front of me. I was so scared.... They even threw one of her fingers at me!"
Xander frowned. "What kind of dream is that? It's more of a nightmare!"
"Xander..." Camilla began as she reached into her pocket. "That wasn't a nightmare..." She pulled the finger out and pointed it at Nergal. "It happened a few days ago."
Xander stared at Camilla. Nergal stood there in shock. After a few minutes, Xander pulled out his sword and aimed it at Nergal.
"Today," he whispered. "You die."
Five swipes later, Nergal and his cronies were dead, and Camilla was free to do whatever she wanted.
