Original Fairy Tale Name: Jack and the Beanstalk
Classification: N/A
Writer(s): Benjamin Tarbot (Original) and Joseph Jacobs
Once upon a time, there lived a boy named Kamui who lived with his mother Camilla. They lived in the poorest village in Nohr, as the village's possessions had been taken over the course of a year. The only things that Kamui and his mom had were a house, a somewhat empty well, and a cow.
One day, Camilla tied a rope to the cow and handed the rope to Kamui. "This cow can't produce anymore milk. Can you be a dear and take this to the market?"
Kamui nodded excitedly and grabbed the rope, leading the cow away from the house. Camilla watched as Kamui went off to the market, and then walked inside.
As Kamui approached the market, an old man approached him. "Young man... Are you selling that cow?"
"Yep!" Kamui replied. "Who are you?"
"I am Zola. I want your cow for... Three beans. They're magic."
"Okay!" Kamui nodded as he took the beans and left the cow with Zola. He then ran home and triumphantly held the beans up to Camilla. "Look what I got for the cow!" He stated.
Camilla face palmed. "Kamui... You just traded a cow for three beans!"
Kamui looked down. "Oh..."
"Just go to bed!" Camilla snapped as she took the beans. Kamui nodded and went to bed, leaving Camilla standing there.
"... If Kamui brought home a gold coin or twelve beans I would have been okay with it..." Camilla confessed before she dropped the beams and went inside.

The next day, Kamui woke up and went outside.
Or rather, he walked ten steps outside of his house before he crashed into a giant beanstalk.
"Whoa..." Kamui stared in shock at the beanstalk. After seeing that his mother wasn't outside (she would disapprove of him doing something dangerous), he began to climb up the beanstalk.
After climbing to the top of the beanstalk, Kamui noticed that he was above the clouds. He also a castle in the distance in the clouds. Smiling, Kamui jumped off the beanstalk and landed on the clouds, running to the castle. As he approached, Kamui realized something about the castle.
He would have to jump up to climb a step.
Taking in a breath and releasing it, Kamui jumped up and grabbed the edge of step. Pulling himself up, he repeated the process three times until he reached the door.
"How do I get in?" Kamui asks aloud.
He then sees the crack in the door big enough for him to get through. He wriggles through it and emerges through, stopping in awe of the place. The place was huge, with giant plates, forks, and a giant bed. But what shocked Kamui were the normal sized items.
Houses. Carts. Cows. Gold.
The giant had been stealing from Kamui's village.
As Kamui processed this, the castle began to shake. Panicking, Kamui hide in a nearby mouse hole, which was empty, thankfully.
"FIE! FI! FO! FUM! I SMELL THE BLOOD OF AN ENGLISHMAN! BE HE DEAD OR ALIVE... I'LL KILL YOU AND EAT YOU!"
"That doesn't rhyme..." Kamui muttered to himself. "Also, I'm not English."
