Hi guys, this is my first Author's Note. I kind of don't believe in them. Anyway, this is to tell you that I have tried this chapter in first person narrative from Elaine's point of view. Please comment and let me know how you feel about it. This is important.

I walked out of the room and closed the door behind me. Leaning against the closed door, I shut my eyes and took a couple of deep breaths.
I waited till all my skin had stopped burning and my heart wasn't racing at a hundred kilometers per hour.
I had already started to feel uncomfortable because of the space between Neill and I.
It felt so bad, almost as if it was unreal. Every particle in my body urged me to just open the door and rush to him.
Keeping my act together, I walked down the hallway. I didn't know where Maire was.
She was staying in this place for protection, but I had no idea where she was. This place was a freaking mansion.
I considered turning around and asking Neill where I could find Maire, but that would just be plain awkward.
I went down the hall knocking on every door before opening it and peeping in.
I knew the house was empty but I couldn't risk any more embarrassment.
Imagine walking in on one of Neill's naked family members. Imagine walking in on a naked Neill. This thought almost made me run back to the room and make Neill strip.
A gasp escaped my lips.
This was so bad. This was wrong.
Why the hell was a I thinking all this?
Because he is your soul mate, and soul mates have sex.
A voice inside my head said. Ugh.
Stupid brain, stupid imagination.
If I were a guy, I would definitely have a boner right now.
I stopped in my tracks.
"FUCK YOU!" I yelled, punching the wall as hard as I could.
"Uggghhhhhh," I crumbled to the floor clutching my fist. It hurt so much.
Pulling my knees to my chest I curled up and started crying.
Why was I crying? This was so frustrating. My knuckles were bleeding.
"What the hell did you do now, Elaine?" a cold voice sounded from behind her.
His voice sounded so well even when he was being mean.
I looked around to see Neill standing behind me. His face was emotionless but his eyes were fixed on my knuckles. I tried to hide them.
"Nothing," I said quickly scurrying to get up.
"Where were you going?" he asked, moving towards me.
"I was just..." I started backing off, but suddenly the wall hit my back and my words got caught in my throat.
"Listen," Neill said, his face a centimeter away from mine, his breath fanning my skin, his eyes boring into mine, his long eye lashes almost brushing against my forehead, "I don't know why you are so suicidal and sadistic, but when you hurt yourself, I get hurt too. This is because of our lame ass bond, but it is there. Right now my hand is on fire, so you won't be doing any such thing again, got it?"
