Gabby's pov- 2 1/2 months after Annabel was born, she was strong enough to go home. Matt handed me her car seat and I carefully placed her in it. "I'm so happy we can finally take her home!" Matt said. "Let's go to the firehouse so you can check in for shift and like we had planned out, I'll stay with Annabel. Besides they haven't met her yet." "Let's go!" Matt held my hand and carried the car seat in his other hand.
Once we arrived, I got Annabel's car seat and sat it down. I picked up the baby and noticed how tiny she is. I know she was premature, but it was still weird. Matt said, "Hey everyone!" Everyone got up and came over to us. They started hugging me. "What's the baby's name?" Brett asked. "Her name is Annabel Elizabeth Casey." While they went on the calls, I sat down and held Annabel and admired her.
