Gabby's pov- Today started normal. The kids woke up, ate breakfast, and we went to the firehouse. They stay there she we go on calls, since it's summer.
Around noon, we had already been on about 5 calls.
I fed the kids lunch, and Ambo was called on another call. (Gabby is on Ambo)
"Ambo 61, elder unresponsive. 67 Applefield Drive." Jackson looked at me. "Mom, that's Mimi and Poppy's address!" I shook my head yes and Brett and I went to the Ambo.
We went inside and we got to work. "What happened?" "I don't know. He was walking through the hallway and must have had a dizzy spell or something, but now he's not breathing! Gabby, do everything you can." "I'm going to Mimi."
On the ride there, I got a shallow pulse from him. "Brett, ETA?" "1 minute."
Matt was meeting us there with the kids.
They took Poppy into a trauma room. Dr. Rhodes came to talk to me.
"We aren't very hopeful Gabby. Especially because of his age."
