Chapter 51- Sickness

Matt's pov- I woke Jackson and Anna up for school while Gabby went to get Juliet up. "Daddy, my tummy hurts." Anna said. I placed my hand on her forehead. "You don't have a fever, baby." She looked alright to me. They got dressed and off to school they went.
Juliet was with Mimi and Gabby and I were at work. I got a call on my phone. "Hello?" "Hi, is this Matthew Casey?" "It is." "I'm the school nurse from Chicago Elementary. I have your daughter, Annabel, in here. She threw up a few times and she looks pretty sick. She does have a low-grade fever. Will you or her mother be picking her up?" "Um, one or both of us will be there soon."
I looked at Gabby. "Babe, Anna got sick at school. You want to go with me?" "Let's tell Boden."
"Hey Boden." "What is it Casey?" "Anna got sick at school, so I was wondering if we could go get her and bring her back." "That's fine."
We got to the school and went into the office. I walked up to the counter. "Hi, I'm here for Annabel Casey. She got sick earlier." "I'll get her for you." "Oh, can you call Jackson Casey to go home? We're going to take him with us." "Sure."
Anna came out, not looking great. "Hi princess." Gabby said. We got Jackson out and took the kids to the firehouse.
I laid Anna on the couch, and told Jackson to look after her if we had a call. "This is my fault." I told Gabby. "Why would it be your fault?" "She said her stomach hurt this morning but I didn't think anything about it." "It's not your fault, she might just have a stomach bug."
