Chapter 60- She's Healed!?

Matt's pov- Soon, Gabby and Annabel came home. Juliet and Jackson ran to them. "Sissy home!" Juliet screamed. Gabby hugged the two kids, and Anna sat on the couch.
I went over to her. "How are you, kiddo?" "I'm good daddy." She smiled at me. She hasn't shown either of us one of her signature Annabel smiles in almost a year.
After we put Jackson, Anna, and Juliet to bed, Gabby and I sat on the couch.
"There's seriously nothing wrong with her? No head trauma, nothing? It doesn't seem possible." I told Gabby. "I know. That's what I thought too."

A few days later, Mimi was watching Jackson and Juliet and Gabby and I took Annabel to her checkup.
"She's acting like a completely normal little kid. With her POMD, that shouldn't happen, right?" Gabby asked. "Right, but we believe that Annabel is possibly taking a turn for the better. Healing." The doctor replied. "That's not possible, though. POMD has no cure." "Correct, but we don't know for sure yet."
Annabel said, "Mommy, Daddy, watch this!" And pulled off a back handspring. "She couldn't do that when she was sick." I said. "Matt, Gabby. Annabel is healed. You don't need to bring her back anymore."
I can't believe it. Our Annabel is healed.
