Aftermath (An SVU Fanfiction) *EDITING*

Late Night

Olivia was incredibly worried about Dylan being at a friend's house, but she needed to focus. She in a meeting with Tucker and Barba and needs to keep her mind on the issue at hand, but how can she do that when all she can think about is her kids? Not just Dylan and how she may or may not be having nightmares, but she had to worry about how Aiden isn't doing his school work, and how Eli has been out partying all night, even though he woke up this morning with a headache.

"..so if we have two dirty cops, that's just another hassle for IA-"

"Yeah, because your job is so hard," Barba says sarcastically. "You're not responsible for prosecuting these bastards! Just get me the evidence I need to put them in prison and-"

"Enough!" Olivia yells over them. "If you two aren't gonna take this seriously, I have kids and a husband I should be at home with right now!"

"You're not going anywhere, Benson. Not until I find them!" Tucker yells back.at her.

Barba stood between them when Olivia started saying that IA shouldn't have sat on this for so long. "Liv, since there are no leads, no witnesses, nothing Tucker can give us, I don't see why you need to stay."

"You say it like I was asking permission. I am going home, regardless. It's Tucker's fault there are now a total of seven vics, so he can fix it!"

"What's your problem, Benson?!"

"Screw you. Both of you."

The two men looked at each other as if to say 'what the hell just happened?' as she walked out. Olivia wasn't trying to be a bitch, but when she gets woken up at two thirty in the morning about serial rapists who also happen to be uniforms, she expects to be doing work, not arguing with Tucker and Barba.

She had barely gotten out of the room when her phone rang. Great. What now? "Benson?"

"Hello, this is Terri, Kyra's mom."

"Hi, Terri. Is something wrong?"

"Um.. Well Dylan woke up screaming, she looks pretty terrified, and says she wants to go home. She said she would walk, but I didn't want her walking home so late."

Olivia's heart sank. She knew this would happen. "Okay, I'll be on my way. What's the address?"

Terri gave Olivia the address and Olivia quickly went there to retrieve her daughter.

A/n: I know this is super short, but I'm having a ton writer's block, so give me some ideas!
