It's been a week. Olivia has gotten to come home, under the condition she wouldn't be working or doing anything that could cause stress, and she's ecstatic to be out of there. She hates hospitals. She's mainly glad that Bronwyn has been arrested and taken into custody. Of course the bitch is denying everything, but she has no alibi and there are three eye witnesses to the account.
She also gets to be home with her kids, all her kids. Eli came home from the academy when his father called him, saying that someone tried to kill Olivia. Everyone's excited..except Dylan. The one thing she asked of her parents is that her siblings don't find out about her assault, but Dylan feels as if all eyes are on her, even though it's Olivia who's injured, and it's taking a tole on her. She has flashbacks of her assault, of her mother almost dying in front of her, everything. Olivia can tell. She can see right through her daughter's shell.
"Dyl.." Olivia whispers, rubbing her back. "You wanna talk about it?" Olivia wasn't expecting Dylan to turn around and bawl her eyes out. She was expecting her to choke back the tears and say that she's fine. "It's okay, baby."
"I was just so scared! I thought you were gonna die, I don't want you to die!"
"Hey," Olivia starts. "I promise, i'm not going anywhere. You shouldn't have had to see that and i'm so sorry you did." Olivia rubs her back and kisses her forehead.
"And then all these thoughts went through my head a-and the things he did to me-"
"Sweetie, I promise you, you're safe. Nobody can ever hurt you."
Dylan raised her head to look at Olivia. "Yes, but uncle Nick was talking to aunt Mandy and said that, that crazy bitch tried to kill you because of Lewis!"
"Language," Olivia warns. Eli walked into the hallway to find them. "Hey, bub."
"What's wrong?" Eli asks.
"Nothing," Dylan snaps.
"Honey-" Olivia started, reaching for her. Dylan yanked her arm away from Olivia and went to her room, slamming the door behind her.
"Mom? What happened?"
"She's just upset about Bronwyn and..she'll be okay."
"Mom, what is it? What's she so upset about?"
Olivia brushed passed him. "Don't worry about it, Eli. It's none of your concern, we have it taken care of, and she didn't tell you for a reason."
"Is she hurt?" he asks in a more concerned way.
"Eli, don't worry about it!"
Of course, Eli didn't listen to his mother and asked Elliot about it. He also told him to mind his own business, but that's Dylan, his little sister, and he knew something was wrong and was going to find out. So, being the stubborn person he is, Eli went up to Dylan's room and knocked on the door.
Dylan wanted nothing more than to just be left alone, so she didn't answer at first, but after a minute or so, she caved and let her brother in. "What do you want?" she asks in a whisper.
"I just wanted to make sure you're okay. I asked mom what happened and she told me, so-"
"She told you!?" Dylan yells. "They promised me they wouldn't!"
Eli put his arm around her. "Hey, you're scared, it's okay to be scared, sis-"
"Don't touch me!" Dylan jerks back and then runs to her mother's room. She's definitely gonna raise hell about this, although Eli isn't sure why. It's totally normal for someone to be shaken up after seeing their mom almost die. "You told him I was raped!?!"
