You POV:

I can see why Audrey absolutely hats dresses. They are so uncomfortable.

"We're here!" Audrey exclaims.

I look out the window at a way prettier castle than mine.

We hop out. Audrey had given me a crash course about her parents and their expectations. Similar to my mom's, but my mom only cared if I was evil, so...

The King and Queen stand there in proper unison.

We walk up slowly with dignity. This was the easiest part.

The hardest part is keeping in character the whole time.

Laugh slightly.

Smile often.

Correct fork.

These were the hardest things.

Audrey curtseys to her parents dipping her head, and I soon follow. Audrey stands up, and hugs her mom. Then her dad hugs her.

"Mom, Dad... This is (f/n) Cards, daughter of the Red Queen."

"Pleasure too meet you, (f/n)."

"Pleasure's all mine, your graces." I smile ever so slightly.

We walk in, and I see maids are polishing the floor.

"Audrey, please show (f/n) around."

"Yes, mama." She says with a hint of excitement.

I bow again.

You have to do this when the King and/ or Queen enter or exit the presence.

When they are gone, Audrey shows me the exterior part of the castle before showing me the interior. We stop at the kitchen...

"Maid Dombegh, can you make us some cookies?" (Comment if you know who Dombegh is and what actual published story she's from for fun.)

"Of course!" Dombegh says getting the needed materials.

We end the tour in Audrey's room.

It's pink. Completely pink. Pink bedspread, pink carpet, pink computer, pink walls, Pink.

"We'll be staying here tonight."

I nod, and sit down on her pink Sofa.

"What do you want to do?" Audrey asks me.

"Truth or Dare?"

"Not a 'princess- like' game."

"You pick."

"Okay... Croquet..."

"Croquet? My mother played that all the time! Just with a flamingo and a hedgehog."

"Great. Let's go play."

We walk to the courtyard...

"So, we doing anything new soon?" I ask Audrey.

"I believe Fairy Godmother said that we're going to the Villain's old homes as a kind of field trip."

"Really? That sounds both amusing and exciting."

"It does. I really want to know where you came from."

"I think there's a book on that." Maid Dombegh says handing us a warm cookie.

"Is there? How does it work? Where is it?"

"Follow me."

We clean up the croquet, and follow Maid Dombegh to a wall. She pulls the candleholder to a 45° angle.
