Your POV:

I found Carlos on the hill. I hope my cheer outfit can be considered 'casual'. I wonder what Carlos needed me for.

He's dressed in a tuxedo. There's a picnic blanket, a basket, and Carlos is holding a single white rose...

I have a feeling I know where this is going.

"Hey, Carlos."

"Hey. Come sit. This is for you, by the way." He hands me the rose and I let it's aroma invade my senses.

"Thank you, Carlos."

"So, I brought you here today... to deliver some good news and hang out with you."

"Okay. So, what's the good news?"

I guess I was wrong. I thought Carlos was going to propose or something...

"I decided to reside in Auradon. I'm not going back to the Isle."

"I'm so happy you followed your heart, Carlos."

"Me, too. I don't know what I'd do without you."

I kiss his cheek and Carlos slightly blushes.

He's not telling me something. He hasn't blushed when I kissed him since... A while ago, actually...

I walk back to my dorm. Carlos and I had spent most of the time talking about nonsense.

Something seems very off.

Before I went into my door, I closed it and went to Mal and Evie's room.

"Hey, (f/n)!" they tell me as I enter.

"Hey, guys. I figured I'd come see how you guys were doing."

"We're doing fine, but we can tell you're here for something else."

"That obvious?"

"Yeah. What's up?"

"I think Carlos is going to propose to me."

"Isn't that good news?"

"Yes, but I don't know why he's acting so weird."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that he blushed when I kissed his cheek."

"That does seem odd. So, anything new?"

"Yeah. I talked with Fairy Headmistress."

"About?"

"Promise not to tell?"

"Promise." They say in unison.

I take a deep breath and speak,"I'm graduating this year."

"How is that possible?"

"I have enough credits and a perfect score from testing."

"That's amazing, (f/n)! Does Carlos, Jay, or Doug know?"

"Not even Audrey knows. You guys are the only ones. Please don't say anything, but I had to tell someone."

"So... What are you wearing to the social."

"The dress that was on stage."

"The (f/c) one with the ridiculously awesome design?"

"Yep. Carlos is wearing the other one."

"Have you talked to Audrey lately?"

"Not since this morning."
