As I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my dress, Sadie complimented me. "You look great in that, Liz!" she said, her eyes shining with sincerity.

I smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her. "Thanks! Do you need any help with your dress?" I asked, walking towards her.

Her wedding dress was a stunning black gown, with intricate lace details and a delicate veil. It was a beautiful, unconventional choice, and it suited her perfectly.

"I'm good, thanks," she said, trying to reach the zipper. But as she struggled to zip it up, I couldn't help but offer my assistance.

"Are you sure?" I asked, watching her struggle.

"Okay, yes. I give up on this stupid thing," she said, sighing.

I laughed and walked over to help her. Once I zipped her up, she thanked me and had her other bridesmaid, Brittany, help her with her veil.

As we prepared for the ceremony, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and joy. Sadie looked beautiful, and I was honored to be a part of her special day.

As the ceremony began, Caden and I exchanged glances, and I couldn't help but blush. It was a romantic moment, and I felt grateful to have him by my side.

After the ceremony, we made our way to the reception, where we danced and celebrated into the night. Caden asked me to dance, and I happily accepted.

As we swayed to the music, I rested my head on his shoulder, feeling a sense of comfort and security. "So, are you enjoying yourself so far?" he asked, his voice low and gentle.

"It's beautiful," I replied, looking up at him. "I hope my wedding will be memorable like this one."

He smiled, and I could sense a hint of promise in his eyes. "I'll have to keep that in mind," he said, his voice filled with warmth.

As the night wore on, we made our way to the buffet, where we enjoyed a delicious meal together. We talked and laughed, and I felt a sense of connection with him that I couldn't ignore.

As the evening drew to a close, I began to feel tired. "Hey, Caden?" I asked, tapping his shoulder. "Yeah?" he replied, turning to me.

"I hate to ask you to leave your sister's wedding, but I'm really tired and you're my ride, so can we leave?" I asked, yawning.

He smiled and nodded. "Yeah, of course. Let's go say goodbye, then we can go."

We made our way to Sadie and her husband, where we congratulated them and bid them farewell. As we left the reception, I felt grateful for the wonderful evening we had shared.

Once we got home, I slid off my heels, feeling a sense of relief. My feet were a little sore, but it was worth it for the beautiful evening we had shared.

"I'm telling you, you shouldn't have worn those," Caden said, shaking his head.

I smiled, feeling a sense of defiance. "Shut up. I'm stubborn like that."

He chuckled and kissed me goodnight. "Alright. I'll see you, Liz. Drive safe."

As he left, I made my way to my bed, feeling exhausted. But as I lay down, I couldn't shake off the feeling of excitement and joy that lingered within me.

I watched a movie, trying to distract myself from my racing thoughts. But as the hours ticked by, I found myself growing more and more restless.

"Ugh! Why can't I get comfortable?!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands up in the air.

I had been trying different positions for an hour now, but nothing seemed to work. I was starting to feel frustrated and irritable.

As I sat up in bed, I rubbed my stomach gently. "I wonder what you're doing in there," I said, smiling.

I then grabbed my phone and texted Caden, hoping he was up. He tended to stay up late sometimes.

"Hey. Are you up?" I asked.

"I am now. Can't sleep?" he replied.

I smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards him. "Nope. I've tossed and turned every way possible."

"You want me to come over?" he asked.

I felt a surge of excitement at the prospect of him coming over. "You'd do that?" I asked.

"Yep. I'm awake now, so I could come and cuddle with you, maybe you can sleep like that."

I smiled, feeling a sense of warmth and comfort at the thought of his arms around me.
