***Day Of Doctors Appointment***

I stood in front of the mirror, smoothing out my clothes. "How do I look?" I asked Caden, spinning around slowly to show off my outfit.

Caden looked up from his phone, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "You look pregnant," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

I rolled my eyes, laughing. "Really, Caden? I didn't know!" I said, my voice heavy with sarcasm.

Caden chuckled, standing up from his chair. "Surprise!" he said, matching my sarcasm.

I walked over to him, a mischievous glint in my eye. "Answer my question, and I might give you back your phone," I teased, holding his phone just out of his reach.

Caden raised an eyebrow, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "You look absolutely stunning," he said, his voice sincere.

I smiled, feeling a flutter in my chest. "Thanks," I said, handing him back his phone.

But our playful moment was interrupted by the arrival of Toby and his new fiancée, Jessica. I felt a surge of annoyance at her presence, and my emotions began to get the better of me.

As we waited in the doctor's office, Jessica made a snide comment about me being pregnant, and I felt my anger boil over. "You're about to get slapped, Jessica," I warned her, my voice low and even.

But before things could escalate further, Caden intervened, holding me back and calming me down. "I didn't want to risk you or the baby getting hurt," he explained, his eyes filled with concern.

I felt a pang of guilt for losing my temper, but I was still fuming at Jessica's behavior. As we sat down in the exam room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief when Toby announced that Jessica had broken up with him.

The doctor came in, and we began the exam. Caden and Toby held my hands, and I felt a sense of comfort and support from both of them.

As the doctor explained my pregnancy and what to expect, I felt a sense of wonder and excitement. I was really going to be a mom!

After the exam, Caden and I had our first official date. We went to dinner, and he kissed me goodbye. I felt like I was walking on air as I drifted off to sleep that night.

The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and renewed. I took a shower, got dressed, and headed to the kitchen to take my prenatal vitamins. As I swallowed the huge pill, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for this new chapter in my life.
