***6 Months Pregnant***
"Are you ready yet, Liz?" Caden asked, knocking on the bathroom door.
"DON'T RUSH ME, CADEN!" I yelled angrily.
"Jeez." He said trying to be silent.
"I HEARD THAT!!!" I yelled, as soon as I did I heard footsteps running away from the door. Once I finished getting ready for the day I walked into the kitchen.
"Where is the food?" I asked sounding slightly annoyed.
"Oh, uh, um.." He was running frantically around the kitchen.
"Well?" I asked.
"Um, just let me fix it." He said still running frantically.
"Ugh." I sighed as I sat down on the couch.
"Is everything alright? You're more moody today than you have been." He asked.
"Well, I'm carrying a child. How do you think I feel right now? Take a guess." 'He's right. I am way more moody than usual..'
"Good point." He said.
"I'm sorry. I don't mean to snap, I'm just uncomfortable right now. I'm glad I'm halfway through these nine months. It's been a crazy ride." I apologized.
"Let me fix breakfast and we can eat and then we can go for a walk. How does that sound?" He asked.
"No walking. I want to go to the New York Public Library. I want a new book." I argued.
"Okay then." He said.
We ate and went to the library. We had fun like we always do when we hang out. We talked about the baby. We went home because I was getting tired. I already knew what I was going to name my baby. He was trying to get me to tell him.
"Come on, Liz! Tell me!" He demanded.
"No! You'll find out when I have her. It's a surprise for you and Toby. I've already told everyone else." I said.
"Aw, Liz. Don't leave me hanging like this." He begged.
"No, Caden." I laughed and shook my head.
"I won't stop asking you." He said.
"I still won't tell you." I argued.
"Really, Liz?! Please?!" Caden was full on begging.
"I'm not going to tell you." I yawned.
He was starting to run out of energy, "Liz, please. Tell me!" He yawned, "I want to know.." He said.
"Listen, give up. You're really tired and so am I. Let's try and sleep." I said.
"Is her name Jaylee?" He asked closing his eyes.
"Nope." I said.
"I give up for now.. I love you, Elizabeth.." He drifted off to sleep.
"I love you too, Caden." I said as I kissed his cheek and I fell asleep. The next morning I read all day in bed while Caden went over to his parent's house to visit them. I eventually got bored.
Hey Caden. Are you almost done?
Nope, sorry.
Darn. When do you think you'll be back?
At least 3 more hours.
Tell me you're joking.
Sorry. It's true.
What are you doing?
Right now I'm talking to my dad about something.
What about?
