We took Jay home as soon as we could. She's been home for one week. Toby still hasn't came by. He's out of town.

"Hello, sweetie." I cooed as I picked up Jay from her crib. She smiled. I walked over to the rocking chair. We sat down and I rocked her.

"I love you so much, Jay." I said as I kissed her forehead. She giggled.

"Are you hungry?" Caden asked.

"Yeah. Could you fix her formula?" I asked.

"Yeah. I will." He said.

"Are you going to stay asleep tonight?" I asked her. She just smiled, she loved when I talked to her.

"Of course you're not. What was I thinking?" I laughed. I hadn't gotten much sleep and Caden hadn't either. We were up all night taking care of Jay.

"I've got the formula." He said handing it to me.

"Thanks, Caden." I thanked.

I continued to rock Jay and stopped to feed her formula.

"You can eat first. I want to spend some more time with Jay. Once you finish eating, you can hold her while I eat." I said.

"Ok." He said, leaving the room.

I finished eating my breakfast and made my way into Jay's room. I stopped at the doorframe. I looked at Caden who was holding Jay and talking to her. I smiled. He looked up and blushed.

"Sorry. Do you want her?" He asked.

"No, you look like you're having fun together." I said.

"Yeah, I guess we are." He said looking down at Jay. Jay giggled and a toothless grin appeared on her face.

"She's adorable. I'm so lucky, aren't I?" I asked.

"Yeah, you are." He said.

"I'm going to call Toby and see when he can come." I said.

"Ok. Jay and I can visit." He smiled down at her.

I walked out of the room. I sat down on the couch in the living room. I dialed Toby's number and put the phone to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey Toby, it's Elizabeth."

"Hey Elizabeth. Is it urgent? Because I really need to go."

"When can you come over?"

"I don't know. Is it really that urgent?"

"Yes Toby, your daughter is that urgent. If you'll just come see her once, I'll be satisfied."

"I'll see what I can do."

"Thanks. Just try your best to be here before Thursday. My sister is coming over."

"Paris?"

"Yep. She visited me in the hospital."

"Oh. What if I don't want Paris to see our daughter?"
