I giggled nervously. "That would be an engagement ring.."

"He proposed to you?" Toby asked.

I pulled my hand from his grip. "Yeah, he did."

"I-I..uh..congrats. I have to go, I'll kiss Jay before I leave. Bye, Liz." He sighed.

I stared at him, confused by his reaction.

Toby's P.O.V

I rushed into Jay's room and kissed her forehead. I left the house and drove home. Once I arrived at my house I shut the door and sighed. I took a shower and laid down in my crappy and messy bed.

'He proposed to her?! Why am I so bothered by this? I don't love her anymore..' I turned over on my side.

'I can't love her, that's stupid..' I turned back onto my back.

'I cheated, I can't love her.' I stared at the ceiling.

Flashbacks appeared in my mind.

*Flashback*

I walked into the kitchen and saw Elizabeth attempting to cook.

"What are you doing in here?" I asked her as I laughed.

"I'm cooking." She smiled and chopped the lettuce.

"You cook? Since when?" I asked.

"I'm learning.." She said quietly.

"You can't cook, can you?" I asked as I walked closer to her.

"Yes.." She said doubtfully.

I raised an eyebrow at her.

She sighed. "Ok, fine, I can't cook.." She continued to chop the lettuce.

"Do you want me to cook?" I asked.

"No, I've got it." She continued to chop the lettuce.

I watched her.

"Crap!!" She said as she dropped the knife and held her finger.

"I'll get a bandage." I said as I left the room.

*end of flashback*

I laughed as I thought about her attempt to cook. I sat up.

'Looks like I won't be getting any sleep today..' I sighed and walked into the kitchen.

Elizabeth's P.O.V

Once Toby left I walked into Jay's room. I kissed her forehead, she looked so peaceful when she was asleep. I decided I would do the same. I walked into our bedroom and went into the bathroom. I changed into a black T-shirt and some comfy shorts. I laid down on the bed and grabbed a book from my nightstand, I always leave a book there in case I get bored and can't sleep. I read a few chapters in my book and fell asleep.

--Dream--

It was pitch black, the only source of light was the moonlight above me. As I sat up from laying down on the ground I looked around the area I was in, trees everywhere and a brown, muddy pathway directly in front of me. I looked down at myself. I was dressed in rags, they were covered in a red color that I assumed was blood...but whose blood? I stood up in panic. I looked around the area again, no sign of any living creature, not even a small ant on the ground. I lifted up my shirt to make sure that it wasn't me bleeding, nope, no cut of any kind, nothing but my bare skin. I couldn't be here alone, right?

"Caden!" I called out.

No answer.

"Is anyone here?!" I called out again as I shielded myself from the cold wind that blew through the area. Nobody answered.

I walked down the dirt/mud path and continued to call out. "Is anybody here?!"

I saw a figure in the distance, it looked like a male. I approached the figure as he came into the light of the moon shining bright above us, I realized who it was, Toby.

"Toby?" I asked.

He didn't say anything.

"Where are we?" I asked as I stopped in front of him.

Silence.

"We need to get out of here." I stated as I began to move, Toby grabbed my arm and pulled me in front of him, he looked into my eyes...I could see so many emotions in his eyes, but one stood out...love?

"I love you, Elizabeth. I never stopped loving you, be with me." He finally spoke.

"Wh-?" I was cut off by Toby suddenly kissing me.

He kissed me and once we stopped the scene changed. You'd think it'd get darker or something...but..it didn't. I looked around at the beautiful land I was standing on in awe. I stood on bright, fresh, grass and beautiful flowers created a path. I looked down at my outfit.

"Wait, what?!" I asked myself as I looked down at my outfit...a wedding dress.

"We're getting married Elizabeth, don't you remember?" Toby asked me.

"No, no, no. We are NOT getting married." I said as I tried to walk away, I looked down at where I was walking, red carpet? What the heck? I looked up and saw my friends and family sitting in white chairs and Toby standing under a wedding arch.

"I am NOT getting married!" I declared.

Then the dream got weirder. Caden entered from only God knows where and was covered in blood.

"Oh my God, Caden!" I screamed as I tried to run over to him, but my feet wouldn't budge.

He just stood there perfectly calm, like nothing was wrong.

"Marry me, Elizabeth." I heard Toby demand.

"No!" I screamed.

Caden kept bleeding and I started to cry because I couldn't do anything.

"CADEN!!"

--end of dream--

I woke up to Caden shaking my shoulders.

"Are you okay, Liz?" He asked.

"Oh my God." I sat up and hugged him tightly.

"What happened inside that head of yours?" He laughed.

"You don't want to know. I love you so much, Caden." I said as I broke the hug and kissed him.

"I love you too." He smiled.

"I'm going to get a glass of water." I said as I got up from the bed.

I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge and got a water bottle. I took a few sips.

'Dreams are so weird..' I thought to myself.

I put the water back into the fridge. I walked back into the bedroom and fell asleep next to Caden.
