I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day. After a quick shower, I got dressed in my normal clothes, which were starting to feel a bit snug. My tiny baby bump was finally starting to show, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and pride.

As I was finishing up my hair, I called Caden to see if he wanted to join me on a shopping trip for some new clothes. "Hey," I said, trying to sound casual.

"Hey, Liz," Caden replied, his voice warm and friendly. "What's up?"

"I was thinking of going shopping for some new clothes," I said. "Want to come with me?"

Caden agreed, and we made plans for him to come over and pick me up. I hung up the phone and finished getting ready, feeling a sense of anticipation for our day out together.

Just as I was about to head out to the living room, I felt a sudden wave of nausea wash over me. I rushed to the bathroom, barely making it to the toilet before I started to vomit.

Caden must have arrived while I was running to the bathroom, because the next thing I knew, he was holding my hair back for me. I felt a surge of gratitude towards him - it was such a small act, but it made a big difference.

Once I had finished throwing up, Caden helped me to my feet and handed me a glass of water. "Thanks," I said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"No problem," Caden replied, smiling. "I'll wait for you in the car."

I nodded, feeling a bit more composed now. I brushed my teeth and washed my face, then headed out to the car.

As we drove to the mall, Caden asked me if I wanted to get some food while we were out. I agreed, and we decided to get pizza. Caden teased me about what the baby might be craving, and we had a playful argument about whether the baby was a boy or a girl.

When we arrived at the mall, we went to the food court and got some pizza. I opted for a cheese pizza, while Caden got a slice with pepperoni. We sat down at a table and ate, enjoying each other's company.

After lunch, we headed out to do some shopping. I tried on several different outfits, but nothing seemed to fit quite right. Caden was patient and encouraging, but I could tell he was trying not to laugh at my frustrated expressions.

Finally, after visiting several different stores, we found a few outfits that fit me well. I was relieved to have found some clothes that made me feel comfortable and confident.

As we were leaving the mall, Caden suggested that we drop off my new clothes at my house, and then head to Central Park for a walk. I agreed, and we spent the rest of the afternoon strolling through the park, enjoying the beautiful scenery and each other's company.

At some point during our walk, I found myself holding Caden's hand. It felt natural and comfortable, and I didn't even notice it at first.

As the sun began to set, Caden walked me back to my front door. "Goodbye, Elizabeth," he said, kissing my cheek. Then, he got down on his knees and rubbed my stomach. "And goodbye to you, little fella," he said, kissing my belly.

I was taken aback by the sweet gesture, and I felt my heart melt a little bit. I kissed Caden's cheek before he left, feeling a sense of gratitude and affection towards him.

Once Caden was gone, I went inside and called the doctor's office to schedule my first prenatal appointment. I was excited to learn more about my baby and to start taking care of myself during this important time.

I texted Caden and Toby to let them know the date of my appointment, and then I went to bed, feeling happy and content. It had been a wonderful day, and I was grateful to have Caden by my side.
