*Two Weeks Later*

"So, what do you want to do today?" I asked Jay as I bent down to make eye contact with her.

She stayed silent, yet her eyes spoke.

"You want to give Sophie a bath? You always love taking care of her."

"Yes, Mommy! Please, oh, please?!" She begged.

I laughed before I spoke. "Alright. Let me go run the bath and you can fetch her."

She nodded eagerly and ran out of her room.

I stood up, struggling of course, and walked into the bathroom. I began to run the slightly warm water, sticking my hand under it to make sure it wouldn't be too hot or cold. Jay came in with Sophie, our dog. She giggled and pet her.

"I love you so much, Sophie. Mommy is going to give you bath!"

"Don't you want to help, baby?" I asked her as I let the tub fill a little more.

"Yes." She paused, "Can Caden help?"

"Sure. I'll go get him." I said before turning off the water and going into our bedroom.

Caden was lying on the bed. I stepped into the room, slightly knocking on the door.

"Oh, hey, babe." He said as he rubbed his eyes.

I smiled and sat down on the bed next to him. "How are you? Are you feeling any better?"

He sighed heavily. "I'm fine, Elizabeth. It's just a cough."

"But you're tired a lot too. What if you're really sick?"

He laughed it off. "Babe, there's no need to worry about it."

"I just don't want you to be sick, Caden."

"I know, I know." He said as he sat up and held my hand.

"I worry about you."

He smiled and kissed my forehead. "Enough about me, what about you?"

"I'm good. The baby is great."

"Was there something you needed or wanted?"

"Oh, yeah. Jay and I were wondering if you wanted to help us bathe Sophie."

"Again? Sophie is spotless."

I laughed. "She's covered in mud, Caden! Jay went outside and played with her earlier today."

"Then shouldn't Jay get the bath first?" He chuckled.

"I already gave Jay a bath, silly."

"I'm just playing, babe."

"Hey, speaking of Jay.."

"Yeah?"

"When should we tell her?"

"She hasn't figured it out?"

"Not yet. She just thinks that I'm getting fat."

"Well, she's halfway there." He joked.

"Haha, very funny. I'm being serious though."

"We could do it today."

"How? It's not like we can just sit her down and tell her randomly."

"We can't?"

"Well, we could.." I paused and thought for a moment, "I want it to be special, something that she can tell her when she's older."

"She?"

"Or he."

"You think it'll be a girl?"
